base754 0 #1 August 11, 2008 I started flying my Phantom 1 and have a question about the leg wing and how to fly it. I noticed during my flights if I don't open the leg wing all the way and point my toes out putting positive tension on the leg wing it tends to flap around. Has anyone else noticed this? I would love to hear from someone that has experience with this suit and how to fly the leg wing.......... Thanks
bodypilot1 0 #2 August 12, 2008 Yes, opening the leg wing all the way, pointing your toes, and putting positive tension on the leg wing will stop any flapping. That is how the suit is designed to fly. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
millertimeunc 0 #3 August 12, 2008 Or just get a Phantom 2. It has an air locked leg wing! The best things in life are dangerous.

That is how the suit is designed to fly. Agreed. They are fantastic suits, but need to be flown with the legs fully spread to avoid flapping. The Phantom2 does not really need this, as it is inflated in a completely different manner. Mine is rock solid, front and rear. Chuck
