Left turn while landing

Recommended Posts

Hey, I own a Hornet 150, I have a feeling, but it could be me aswell, that everytime I get to the landing flare, or just before, the canopy takes a light left turn.
once when there was quite alot of turbulace on ground level I even felt that the whole canopy took me 20degrees to the left, while I wasn't touching the brakes, holding - but not pulling.

What could be a resonable check to see if its me or the canopy ? the canopy has 50 jumps on it.

I am a newbie so take this with the appropriate grain of salt:

On my last 2 landings I kept going off course to the right a few degrees. After talking with my landing coach he pointed out that while my arms sere not moving, when I looked around under canopy my shoulders were following my head. WHen the shoulders moved so did the arms and of course they were holding the toggles and I was turning.

my .02 cents

Every third or forth jump I untwist any twists in the brakes (when usually I don't have much),

What does it mean, reaching with my right foot, do you mean like trying to put my right leg first on ground... it can't be reasonable... I twisted my ankle 30 jumps earlier (the right one)... :S

Well, the steering lines length I can check by myself, isn't it? but as I recall while flying high it goes stright while in front wind.

Thanks, but the thing I hoped for is for someone to offer landing services
