keithbar 1 #1 November 23, 2008 WHOOO HOOO! got a demo raptor in. and it even fits my big ass decent. thanks tony you rock . now to find some good weather to jump it. come on blue skies and record high's. hooking my rig up to it seems pretty straightforward. one question the pull tabs for the zippers on arm wings have a snap button on them. I guess they are there to make the tab easier to find and grip? there doesn't seem to be any place to snap the snap to.i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. Naw I wasn't low I'm just such a big guy I look closer than I really am .
peggs82 0 #2 November 23, 2008 The corresponding snap should be right next to the end of the zip on the arm. The tab should (theoretically) cross over the zipped sleeve and prevent the zipper from walking open. I try to keep the toggle of the zipper out towards my hand to keep it from unlocking and unzipping. If there is no corresponding snap, then it is just a manufacturing error, that could be easily fixed by any rigger. edit to add Keep in mind there is no thumb loop or anything like that on the new arm design. PhoenixRising 0 #3 November 24, 2008 i dont think it has the new arm mod. It is an old design raptor. i sent it from my birdhouse to tony to have a legwing zipper repaired. so the arm zip should have a snap that attaches to the thumb loop. and the arm wing cutaway has a snap over for the zip to help prevent the zippers from walking up. Im not sure if it was modded at the factory after is sent it. justinWingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits

keithbar 1 #5 November 24, 2008 so the old design had a thumb loop but no snap for the pull tab? and they weren't needed because of the thumb loop? like i said it"s a demo but this suit does have thumb loops. and the pull tabs on the arm wings have a snap button but I can't see a cororsponding male snap at the cuff anywhere. if you were to add this snap should it be on the inside of your wrist or the outside? but hooking my rig up to the suit was much easier than I was thinking it was going to be. pretty much just putting the legstraps thru the zippers on the back of the legs and sticking the sleeves/wings thru the rig.and doing the cutttaway clevis to the ring on the leg.i have on occasion been accused of pulling low .
