A bathroom cleaner? I dunno, man. Personally I always thought it sounded more like the name of an expensive italian kitchen appliance, like the kind of espresso machine owned by people who live for the next Ikea catalog, wear lots of Abercrombie and order stuff at starbucks that reads like the parts list to an aircraft carrier or a complex genetic modification procedure. A Vimeo hypercaf sludgeomatic with optional fellatio dispenser and automated sweet n low reservoir or something. But thats just me.

Is it just me, or does that 'Out of the Vault' video look like a collection of big pixels in 16 colours?
I see some blocky stuff on what I think is an incredibly cool high skyvan exit etc. Shame, as the content looks like a lot of fun..

Any chance at a decent quality version on that baby?

We also plugged your videos on our world wide wingsuit news blogB|

More a question than a comment, but interested in your answer/views on this one..?

Should helmet/dytters be of common use for FFCs?

Dont know if this was was one of those mega experienced skydivers who has done so many jumps he doesnt want/need the added audio reminders and head-protection for an FFC.

Ive had one old RW flyer who had never used a helmet/audible in 3000+ jumps, and refused to wear one on his FFC, but in general I think wearing a helmet and having an audible is a good idea?

Seen people do nasty swings in their harnas during opening, which could give em real nasty cuts on the ears. Plus on the exit, when concerning unexperienced jumpers, hitting the rear stabilo/tailwing of the plane with ones head is more than a real risk....small but real..

Not meaning to jump in on a question for Jeff but I am a strong proponent for a helmet WITH a dytter device with FFFC students. It is something I ask about and ask that they have. The helmet is not so much for the hitting of a tail but more for a place that the dytter goes. FFC students are in a new environment and have a new internal clock issue which can be disconcerting. The Dytter is only a back up but it is a proven one that aids the jumper.

I'm a big proponent of discussing the WS channel in this tread and discussing helmets in a helmet thread.

It was only ment as a short question regarding what I saw in the video.
Starting a complete new thread seemed a bit overdone..

But if one of the greenies wants to maybe split this off into a seperate thread...(?)

It is a recommendation not a requirement, I do strongly urge all first flight students to wear an audible and helmet.

Also they are instructed to check their alti after each of the two turns, then while on the final leg every 10- 15 seconds (about the time it takes to do an average circle of awareness, Body position check and fix, Heading check and fix, Alti check, over and over until 6000 feet)

As some students comment "they never heard their audible beep" so it can not be solely relied upon.

But yes I do strongly recommend wearing a helmet and audible.

And isn't this what you call thread drift
;)
