scottjaco 0 #26 November 30, 2003 Tell me about it! Javlin raised their prices from $1,699 to $1,899 in this years ParaGear catalog. That is so lame! with all the compaints I'm hearing about the 6 month delays. Why would they charge extra for a Kill line? Get the Vodoo from R.I. it has all the options included in the price! as a result, it is much cheaper and in my opinion, a better rig.

scottjaco 0 #28 November 30, 2003 OK, I like the Javlin Odessey but I think these containers are getting just a little too popular and perhaps a little over rated. I've used one before, It was OK but it didn't re define the sport of skydiving. scott
Paige 0 #29 November 30, 2003 I ordered pants and she said it would take 10 weeks. It has been over that time frame but she assured me they would be arriving Dec. 4th. So keep your fingers crossed, she is really busy but always willing to talk over the phone to ease any order worries you may have. Everyone I know has loved their suits, pants, etc. so they should be a real treat when the arrive. Everyone says they are well worth the wait!Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
scottjaco 0 #30 December 1, 2003 I hope so, the one bad thing about the sport of skydiving is that there just aren't that many people doing it. As a result, Firefly is running a very small operation, or in a garage! I wish they hadn't moved to Iowa! I live in LA, I could have just driven down to Venice to pick my Pants up! I wonder why they moved from a big city to bumfuck Iowa? does anyone know the answer to this?
Jimbo 0 #31 December 1, 2003 QuoteI wonder why they moved from a big city to bumfuck Iowa? I'm sure the residents of Bumfuck, Iowa appreciate your comment. Those residents, as you know, now include the fine folks at Firefly. Quotedoes anyone know the answer to this? BlackholeSon 0 #32 December 1, 2003 I wonder how close they are to Fort Dodge? Couch Freaks! edited to add: I'm guessing the 515 area code is near Ames, Iowa. Nelson 0 #33 December 12, 2003 Hey dudes, I will travel to Florida in April. So does anyone know a dealer of firefly located there? It would be much more cheaper if I could pick up such a wonderful looking suit during my holidays. Firefly don't answer my emails... [email]

Wow, 10 minutes in the sport and you're already giving advice on gear. Did you know the Voodoo comes in limetid sizes and cannot handle really big canopies? SkydiveNFlorida 0 #37 December 13, 2003 I e-mailed the Firefly about 2 weeks ago and never got a reply. I've decided to find another place to get ff pants. Unfortunate that this is the case, I heard some great things about their stuff on here, and really wanted a pair of ff pants from them. I refuse to harrass someone to take my $$, tho. Angela. PhreeZone 20 #38 December 13, 2003 Guess what... I've sent emails to 3 major rig manufactors in the last month and the fastest I got a reply was 6 days. I'm still waiting on one company get back to on an email I sent Wednesday and I gave up getting a reply from the one. As soon as I picked up the phone and called the companies I got a rapid reply and they answered my questions or promised to follow up the emails with answers if they could'nt answer them on the phone. Call Sherri and talk to her. I used to have email delays of 3 or 4 weeks with her but never more then a day or two on the phone. Not every company has enough resourses to put someone infront of a computer all day to reply to emails as soon as they come in. With the smaller compaines I give them 2 weeks with out even batting an eye to reply to emails simply since I know how busy life can get at times.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
