The111 1 #1 March 22, 2009 I've spent the past several weeks overhauling the video section of my site. No longer do you have to download low-quality wmv files. You can now watch High Definition wingsuit videos right on the site (think Vimeo or Youtube HD). This was a lot of work, and I hope you all enjoy it! Right now all of the older videos have been transcoded to the new format, but I also have several new ones coming soon, including a few events from the past 6 months. This is all brand new to me (the web coding side of it) so I'm looking for any feedback, especially if anybody has any problems with viewing the videos. I'm considering adding a "low quality" option if the HD is too much for some users' computers to handle... but for now the HD/HQ is all there is. http://www.matthoover.com/gallery/skydiving-videos/ Feedback, please! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

DSE 5 #5 March 23, 2009 Color correction is outstanding (gamma on the HC5 sux). Nicely done, Matt.
skittles_of_SDC 0 #6 March 23, 2009 Very good work on the player. The only thing i would suggest is maybe having the controls sitting over the video (as in on the video) with autohide=true. That way if someone wanted to skip around in the video for some reason they wouldn't have to exit full screen to do it. Thats a very minor thing though. Other than that it's pretty darn good. The111 1 #7 March 23, 2009 QuoteColor correction is outstanding (gamma on the HC5 sux). All the more impressive considering I didn't do any color correction... ??? I just output high bitrate 1080i m2t's straight from Vegas, and then transcoded them to low bitrate 720p mp4's using x264 encoder.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

You don't have to exit fullscreen to use the control bar, as soon as you move the mouse it pops back up from hiding. Does this not work for you?www.WingsuitPhotos.com

The111 1 #12 March 23, 2009 Haha, I was gonna say. They're pretty "unlocked." And even if I had put any effort into "locking" them... you can always download ANYTHING that you are viewing, including Youtube or Vimeo or even HDTV with HDCP, if you know how.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Mozilla 3.0 on OS 10.4 EDIT: For the record it does show up at the beginning right after I make it full screen but after it goes away if I move my mouse again it does not show back up. and I'm also using Flash

The111 1 #18 April 11, 2009 Small update: I've added a "Watch (standard)" option for those who aren't able to view the HD files smoothly, due to either a slow connection or a slow CPU.www.WingsuitPhotos.com
