BenediktDE 2 #29 October 21, 2009 Very nice flying and you've really been lucky with the view. The simle after you heard Jarno shouting was funny! Fly with you soon! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
elias123 0 #30 November 27, 2009 I recently bought a brand new wingsuit from Jarno. Its a Phantom2z and he got me a super awesome deal for it, for which I am superdupergrateful to him :) (Thanks dude!) anyway I am super stoked about the suit. I really want to jump it as soon as I can, but the weather here in Belgium has been quite shitty for the last few weeks. I'm putting my hopes on next week as the forecasts for this weekend don't predict much good. The suit is a little tight, although I am confident that I can jump it without problems. Following Jarno's advice, I'm gonna ask a rigger to make the booties a bit longer, so that the suit doesn't feel as tight as it does now. I thought I might share :) Blues everyone!"In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
BenediktDE 2 #31 November 27, 2009 Nice to see your new toy! If it fits, I would first do 5 to 10 jumps on it before altering (despite it is really too tight). The suit will stretch a bit in the beginning. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
mccordia 74 #32 November 27, 2009 Congrats on your new suit dude! I was quite happy to see this stock model fit you so well. With a small stretch in the booties, it will be perfect. Booties tend to stretch 2 or 3 cm after a few jumps. So could be that it doesnt even need a tweak. And otherwise we can sort that one out in the factory as well, so its done proper....Hope to see you fly it soon! (if the shit weather improves:)) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? elias123 0 #33 November 27, 2009 That's some good advice. And I'm gonna follow it :) If it still feels to tight after 10 jumps then I can still get it altered. Thanks mate!"In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
