repcool 2 #26 April 12, 2010 Quote 1) This system apparently has flaws. From what I understand, it doesn't work well if you have the wrong type of clothing on underneath the sleeves. I am not talking about brands here but style of suit. A Prodigy or Intro (with wings unclipped) is better for the first 1-10 jumps because there is no wing cutaway and not having to worry about a cutaway is one less thing to deal with those first few times. I am sure in some parts of the world\country getting a demo suit for just 5-10 jumps is not realistic but if you are somewhere that you can get one then why wouldn't you? phoenixlpr 0 #29 April 12, 2010 QuoteBack to my question: BM does not do a first flight suit any more, do they? The Impact is a tracking suit and the Firebird would not be my first choice... I got my FFC on Phantom. It was really easy to fly. Firebird is something similar. I don't think there would be a real need for smaller wings at least not for skydiving.
