DSE 5 #1 May 3, 2010 This suit has an interesting history, as well as a unique design. We'll see how she flies.
mccordia 74 #2 May 3, 2010 Pretty cool. Michael Abrahams book (Birdman, Batman and Skyflyers) has some nice bits on this suit, and its origins in it. Pretty cool. Ive made a post on WingsuitNews.com with some additional info. Cant wait to hear back from you after flying it!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
arai 0 #3 May 3, 2010 how the hell did you manage to get it in your colors? ;)
DSE 5 #4 May 3, 2010 I have the book, didn't see any references to it however. Chuck was working with PDG with regards to this design at the time of Patrick's death. The way it's designed, it's relatively easy to make some assumptions (possibly incorrect) about how he was trying to attach the suit to the rig. Gotta love the warning label.Hoping the weather allows me to jump it; clouds cover the area for the second day.
jcbfly 1 #5 May 12, 2010 Just curious...did you ever fly it?
DSE 5 #6 May 12, 2010 I didn't .Weather didn't permit for two days, and John wasn't around for the next two. But...I'll be back there very soon, and it's a first-priority.
jcbfly 1 #7 May 12, 2010 Thanks for the update. I've been curious about this suit since I read about it in Michael Abram's book. Looking forward to reading your flight test report.
