flymelonfilms 0 #1 May 6, 2010 Hi Guys, Here is a short video of me and my friend trying to fly together with his Pitts S-1T and my Stealth2. http://vimeo.com/11508735 Cheers Juan "MELON' Mayer www.PhoenixFly.com www.FlymelonFilms.com Juan "MELON" Mayer www.JuanMayer.com info@juanmayer.com
pchapman 279 #2 May 6, 2010 The Pitts and jumper were still very far apart, especially from the view point through a wide angle lens. A couple hundred feet?? as the descending Pitts went by. So it isn't exciting as a 'cool video' in general. Still, as a personal skydiving achievement it must have been neat to arrange -- with the potential for better in the future. The problem is generally going to be to get a plane descending steeply enough without too great a speed build up.

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
BenediktDE 2 #4 May 7, 2010 I liked the video very much! Nice plane, cool jump! When I look at the Pitts - doesn't it have any flaps? Without these speeds might really get very high? Great try, go on and dock after 20 more tries. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.
