Neoslim22 0 #1 September 2, 2010 Anyone that jumps a wingsuit with a argus aad, what setting do you have it on? Standard or Novice?
mccordia 74 #2 September 2, 2010 In the situations where you'd need an AAD, the standard setting (78 mph) is more than enough to warent your safety. In case of instability, a wingsuit is more likely to speed up beyond normal freefall speeds (even in severe spins) than slowing down beneath that range. The novice setting (45 mph) is one that could be concidered dangerous if you jump any canopy thats capable of doing such speeds in tight turns/dives, so the standard setting would for sure be recommendable.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? jurgencamps 0 #3 September 3, 2010 Standard. Do not put it on novice, except when you are a novice skydiver. But then you are not allowed to wingsuit off course
