Jbag 0 #2 December 2, 2010 lol, i love how no US teams have entered yet :P....sorry, we like to flock with our knees bent here, we arent going to enter :PIHYD
mccordia 74 #3 December 2, 2010 No US teams yet? The TonySuits team has flown in the competition in 2008 and 2009. With registration for this year being open for about 2 hours, it would probably be a bit premature to claim there will be no US team this year... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? mccordia 74 #13 February 12, 2011 http://wingsuitcompetition.com/divepool.php We've just added the missing animation for figure H/YingYangAnd working with L&B to get AltiTracks involved in judging the working altitude (so everyone gets exactly the same altitude from exit till seperation). More news soon!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
mccordia 74 #14 February 21, 2011 DeepSeed has just emails us two 45% discount Vouchers on two of their amazing freefly suits for the prize-pool. DSE 5 #15 February 21, 2011 this same comp will occur at Skydive Elsinore on June 18/19. Hopefully we'll have the details on the wingsuitcompetition.com website soon? L&B are providing some gear to help move this event forward.
mccordia 74 #16 March 15, 2011 We will be updating the wingsuitcompetition website this week with some minor additions to the rules related to the working altitude. Thanks to backing by L&B we will be using AltiTracks to monitor exit altitude, and each team will be getting 7500 ft of working altitude. Meaning the scoring stops the moment they pass that exact freefall distance (12500 ft exit. 5000ft 'stop', 12200 ft exit. 4700 ft 'stop etc.) Meaning there isnt any difference between teams who exit first or last, as well as easier rules (no more 'showing' of altimeters to the camera, or cameraman deployment altitude being used to check seperation etc). So all in all, more robust and fair rules. And still, fly better = more working time. Everyone gets the same 7500 ft of freefall to 'show what you got'. L&B is also sponsoring prizes, as well as a spontanious offer from DeepSeed freefly suits and FlyYourBody and PF are the two main organizing parties, both sponsoring the prizes as well. Expect more news soon!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
