virgin-burner 1 #9 May 26, 2011 Quote ...into a headwind on my 4th jump on the suit doin a bit better now we'll need much more than a GPS-overlay then.. next time you jump on that beach, can you do it on a day when it's crowded with brazilian hotties wearing nothing but strings on their bodies!? and let video run for a while longer!? “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. desert1 0 #12 May 27, 2011 jump with relatively short start. please be aware that you can not directly transfer these exit numbers(rock drop vs distance needed to fly out) to a high altitude exit. also head wind is VERY helpful for WS start, turbulent conditions or back wind can can make your start considerably longer.--------------------------------- canyon bar
dthames 0 #14 May 29, 2013 Would you share how you created the data overlay? Thanks, DanInstructor quote, “What's weird is that you're older than my dad!”
WickedWingsuits 0 #15 May 30, 2013 Here is one I did using RaceRender. The video isn't as cool but I just wanted to play around with it. After I finalzed this I figured out a way to bring in custom data and display it so I could have put Altitude and GR into it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtj8MPRHh6k You basically setup all of your inputs, in this case 2 video streams and a single GPS feed. Then the effort is aligning them all to start at the same time.Summer Rental special, 5 weeks for the price of 4! That is $160 a month. hjumper33 0 #16 May 30, 2013 A nice brazilian guy make a readout video that I then overlaid on the video. I should make another one some day, happy that people are enjoying it two years later.
crwper 7 #17 May 31, 2013 Here's another one produced using FlySight, Paralog and Dashware: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGhF0NR-xAQ&feature=youtu.be&hd=1 Unfortunately, I don't know the details of how it was created. Michael
MrCat 0 #18 May 31, 2013 crwper Unfortunately, I don't know the details of how it was created. Michael Thats one of mine. Dashware has support for both flysight and paralog. You just open Dashware, select your video file, select your data file and then just drag the slider to tell Dashware where the data starts compared to the video. Drop your gauges onto the video and you are done. Since I did that vid Dashware has more skydiving related gauges such as an alti and a few combined gauges. I thought I'd uploaded more gauge tests but I must have tidied up and removed them. There is also a very good online site that will combine gps data and video. http://gps4sport.com/?a=TrackDetailsFull&trackId=457Jump more, post less.
