Yes, something seems to be wrong with the whole site. Not just the forums. The actual load happens quickly, but there is a long delay before it begins to load. Pretty much globally.

all this talk of rights reminds me of (geez can't recall her name. Kristen?)'s sig line from PJ O'Rourke. There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences. I'm not religious, so the rights "we" have and the way we have them are what we decide they should be. God doesn't grant rights, people do. The idea of fundamental rights, or inalienable rights, or just really really important rights, feel to me like matters of degree so that is where the debate here seems to have fallen into mere sematics.

not a huge fan of being automatically signed out after a short period of inactivity. ALSO not a huge fan of the "remember me" box being checked by default, *especially* if I'm going to have to sign in several times per day.

Oh, yes! I discovered wreck.skydiving while I was in college. It was there I learned how badly skydivers need adult supervision (ie mods).

Everything is way too big. Degeneration already mentioned the time it takes to scroll down the list of forums (mobile or desktop). The forum topic list and the topic thread are also too large. I would love to see a more visually condensed version or have the option for such.

While trying to use the forums on my IPhone SE I am finding that scrolling past the several pinned posts is kind of maddening. Not sure if there is an answer, but I can suggest merging some of them. I am feeling the love now. Especially on my laptop.

Thanks! We've resolved the first signature issue and there will now be a separation between post text and signature. We're looking into the issue about signatures not being brought over into the profile fields.

Utter Rubbish. I guess its a good excuse to abandon DZ.com for good. If it ain't broke...….. I'm sure quite a few regular posters will disappear from here.
