    I have a Icon I5 . PD 160 reserve . Hade had a Pulse 190. Packed just fine . Jumping a Crossfire 169 now fits just fine . Think I can down size to a Cross fire 3, 150( When it comes out ) without problems

    A liile update ,Sticky ripstop does NOT work on ZP canopys . Its all gone. Patching next

    You can be a skydiver in a week these days. Without the sweat and tears of yesteryears . Easy come easy go.

    Jumped last year with a group that just used shaky shaky then nothing, (that could see or follow)then exit. I realy hated it as well. I was always late on the exit. Waiting for the count /movement that never came . Realy screwed my head up. This is what we used to do and I think works best of all (we do this) last grips are IC - eye contact with OC (OC has the count, already checked with Camera) OC lays left leg way out in the wind - pause/calm ready (out) set (in) GO!

    Depends a bit on the age of the pulse . Has it still the old brake line set up or the new ? The new gives a better flare

    Could always buy a new one .Hopefully without problems then resell the old one after its been serviced. At a loss of ..... bucks . Back in the old days we would hardly get in the planr when some one had a AAD. To jump with them just was.nt on .

    For somthing we can do ourselfs as a first step how about removing carpets from the packing area and replace it with something that does,nt cause static or find a way to ground out the carpets/packing mats. I will not be packinging on carpets.

    Has the manufacturer given their reasons for going this route ? Should have increased too 1000 ft and left it at that. Every one on the same page.Simple and everyone reasonable happy

    I have my nicely S folded canopy ready to go into the DBag and then everything goes wrong and just end up stuffing it in. I had once a DBag that was split between the two center gromments which you closed with velcro. Are they still available or do I have to modify a new one ? I am sure this would help getting the canopy in nicely . Any reason not to use a split bag. I know practice makes perfect.

    I have(had) the same shoulder problem . Lifting my arms above my head realy caused aches.4 jumps and I was finished for the day . Thought at first it was overdoing the weights and training . Got to expect a few aches and pains at my age right Do not wait to long before getting help. I thought it would go away by itself , I ended up with two inflamed shoulders which is taking its time to heal. I am going to warm up better and try a bit of yoga,streching to lossen up museles and joints at the start of the skydiving day

    I had a Pilot 168 ZP . I do not make my Pulse 190 fit !Fits very nicely. I had to even shorten my loop when I changed to the 190.

    I have a Pulse 190 in a I5 had to shorten the loop . Bet a 200 would fit as well.

    Well I know for a fact that my Pulse 170-190 has them.

    Why do PD put packing tabs on their canopy,s other than for flat packing ?

    If you read this thread .PD Pulse - New lineset specs - better flight and flare You will understand what happened. I upsized to a pulse 190 without the new lineset and being a short fellow had hardly any flare on no wind landings not to talk about a out I had with a down wind landing the other week.I thought it was me that was the problem before PD came with the mod .Which I will get asap Not every thing works out how you think its going to

    I agree with everything here .That is why I upsized. 56 years old and want to keep on jumping.Playing it safe .Packing was also a issue, Upsized to Pulse 190. BUT ! Most likely ended up in a worse situation by doing so. And having to reline a 200 jump canopy . I am approx 5'8 and 90Kg in my socks PD Pulse - New lineset specs - better flight and flare

    I am brother to BIP . I have had a year of abuse from him about my no wind landings on my 190. My jump suit is nealy worn out from washing it so often . I even upsized from 170ZP to 190 Pulse and now they tell me there no brakes . PD should be giving us new line sets
