Not sure if this is still current or not but I have a G4 M4 and when it was brand spanking new, I had a 170 in it with a 160 main. I now have a 129 main with same reserve. Only getting new rig as I'm sure my next canopy will be way too loose :-)

It is a 114, not a typo. And it's NZ Aerosports, not Icarus. You can get a canopy made in any size you want. That is my whole point of the question. If I had a 119 I would get an MT no questions asked. But I have a 114 which is in between sizes.

Thanks guys, Matt, out of interest, what canopies are you going to put in your MT?

They know I'll be getting a mirage either way, I just need to decide if I get MX or MT. All I was asking was about combinations that people may have used. I know everybody has their opinions but that's not what I was asking. I'll be getting measured for a new rig so I'm kinda hoping that will address the fitting concerns...

Are you saying the only way you'll know if you have line twists is if your asymmetrical canopy looks like it's the wrong way round when you open and look up? And also asymmetrical wears unevenly, especially if you have white in there.

Hello. I'm looking at a new Mirage. I have a crossfire 114, 500 jumps, and will buy whatever reserve will fit in whatever sized container I end up getting. I originally though of an MT as they state the optimum fit is for a 119 crossfire. Mirage have told me that an MX will be a good fit for my canopy though. I'm thinking that the 114 will be tight ish, so I can downsize, I will want a cross brace in this rig eventually. Obviously mirage know what they are talking about, so I will prob end up ordering a MX, I just want to know if people have experience of similar combinations, what worked, what reserve etc. Thanks :-)
