  1. really? thats cool i guess i could ask the DZ its Texas skydiving center in lexington texas and ive asked before if i could do aff there and they said yes even with being only 17. I know i probably shouldnt have included that haha i just figured maybe some correlation with breathing and relaxing and such but it is unnecessary to include.
  2. So a perfect christmas present from my sister was a promise to go skydiving over spring break and to get it all ok with my parents! Now im only 17 and turn 18 in October 2012 so my question now is should i do the first AFF jump or a tandem? I have to go to Austin from the D/FW metroplex because of my age and i cant see myself coming back until summer to do all the AFF jumps. So my question is would I be smarter doing level 1 aff even though i would have to repeat it in the summer or just do a tandem. Im kind of a hardass and want to be all cool and do solo first but i really need to be smarter about my decisions so i know i should take advice from you all to a certain extent! Also this may mean nothing but i ride motorcycles and have no issues with high speeds and a small fear of heights so maybe i wont need as much time to accept the feeling? idk im not as wise as some of you all and am looking for advice! Thanks!
  3. Hi! My name is Alex and im 16.... I live in north texas by Dallas. I have fallen in love with the idea of skydiving and now want to do it more than ever. I was planning on going skydiving for my 17th birthday but the only DZ in texas that allows 16+ is Texas Skydiving which is by Austin. Now if I were to start AFF training as in doing level 1, when i turn 18 would another DZ, say Dallas skydive accept it as completed? idk how i have to get a license but its alot of money to waste so i want to be very conscious of my choices. Thanks!
