  1. That is why I thought they were a scam, but didn't want to leave out they were stolen by someone non-knowledgeable. I didn't catch the Turbolenza sticker. Good catch! Thanks for your help! They both had bids of over $2,000 on them. Someone was close to being scammed.
  2. There is a short listing from a new user that doesn't answer any questions on eBay. Their listing also doesn't make sense. A brand new rig with 10 jumps on it and 5 repacks since January of this year. Maybe they are selling it due to bad odds, lol, but I figured I should get the info out to everyone. Here are the links: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181243680452 Vector 3 Micron 350 w/ a Sabre 170 http://www.ebay.com/itm/181243681374 Mirage G3 w/ a Pilot 169 Main and Pilot 149 reserve. It could also be a fraudulent listing. Blue skies!
  3. http://www.dropzone.com/classifieds/Detailed/Complete_Systems/Mirage_G4_eight_jumps._Comes_with_reserve_160_pdr__144203.html Is that the same scammer, or has this person been cleared? It's similar..ish.
  4. Are you going to work at an APS location? I live in central Phoenix near the Biltmore and would be willing to carpool to Eloy or Maricopa. I'm on rotating shift work, so my time to jump differs each week.
  5. I'm glad everything turned out fine, and in no way am I trying to offend/attack anyone. This is for my edification, and hopefully other jumpers. Is the right move really to kick out the jumper? Wouldn't it be more conservative and safer to pull them in while maintaining control of their pilot chute? It seems her riding the plane down is much safer than risk the pilot chute wrapping around the tail. While the chance may be minimal the risk seems too great. Is it him kicker her while holding her pilot chute, then releasing after she has cleared the door what makes it safe?
