Right. Was it a 'device' when you phoned Bruce Kitt, the head of NWA.org, asked him questions...and then posted the results on the internet without warning him in advance you planned to do that? You embarassed him you know. Then you asked me if I'd like to hear what else he said. Actually...I don't care but I could take a guess. ***'Don't call me anymore...' That's a joke. Not funny to Kitt I'm sure.

I think Robert can be excused from driving the outcome of Decoded. After all, they sent him away to eastern Washington during the filming of the Geestman segment.

I can see why you'd skip over that. Nobody likes to be mocked. But, then, I looked at it another way. Why does Robert get so much vitriol? There are others on here who are passionate advocates for their suspect. There are others on here who will massage any facts so they fit the result they want. There are others on here who disagree with others and will argue about it. They don't get the kind of response Robert gets. Why is that? I think the post from Yellow Oxide pretty much nailed the perception others have of Robert. Not sure if seeing that can make others disagree without being disagreeable, but it might be a start.

You might not be able to answer this, but is Adventure Books run by Gayla, or do you run it together? I know Washington States has many programs, benefits and low interest loans for women and minority owned businesses. I know several people who structured their enterprises that way to take advantage of those benefits. Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder if some of the things you do are really Gayla's decisions and not yours, as you seem to claim.

What does 377 think of this? I have my DVR set to record anything related to "DB Cooper". This week it recorded a 2012 episode of "Pawn Stars", a show where people bring strange and unusual items to a Nevada pawn shop and the owners tell them what it is worth. In this episode someone brought in a Cooper twenty. It was not Brian Ingram and he didn't say where he got it. It was a smaller bill and the serial number was not on it. It was supposedly verified because it was in the stack of money that Brian found. Although the bill was sold wholesale and in not as good condition as the one that 377 bought, they offered $1800 for the bill and it was accepted. The pawn shop owner said this was an item he'd probably keep it for itself. Another side note: Little messages about the item are posted on the bottom of the screen to tell the viewer about the item in general. In this one, they say "Duane Weber is considered a top suspect by his widow and the FBI".

Those weren't necessarily questions to be answered, but examples of cases where your conclusions don't follow from your fact pattern.

Robert, These are the kind of statements that get you in trouble and charged with sloppy research. Did a half-dozen witnesses see Bernie with Kenny that weekend? Probably not. Did Kenny tell a half dozen people he was with Bernie? Possibly, but it seems more likely he told one person he was and that person told the others. In that case, you don't have a half dozen witnesses, but only one witness. And, that witness is offering hearsay evidence. Just because Bernie lied, doesn't mean he's DB Cooper. Maybe he was having an affair. Who knows? And, did he really lie? What does "deathbed" mean? Is it just the day he died? He was sick a long time. Did Bernie ever visit him when he was too sick to get up? Was Bernie ever at sea for months at a time? Bernie is an old man. Could he just be confused? You like to throw the term "liar" around. Can you prove it?
-
Robert, Just curious...has anyone ever tried to contact your witnesses? It wasn't that long ago that you were encouraging people to contact the witnesses for themselves because you said you had done your part in researching Kenny and wanted someone else to pick up the ball and run with it. I could find quotes of you saying that, but I don't think I need to, do I? So.....If Bernie's family confronts Bernie and he admits he was with Kenny that weekend, but it had nothing to do with the hijacking and his family believes it, are you prepared to drop Kenny as a suspect?

Fair enough. But, the question has to be why do you talk about this stuff on the thread? Do you know who I work for? What I do for a living? Do you know this kind of personal information about anybody else who posts on this thread? Does anyone else post what other projects they're working on? Does anyone else post running updates on local sports teams' scores? Some of the comments are harsh, I agree. But, they're also a way of saying -- Hey, Robert. You're oversharing!
-
Robert, I don't feel like I'm attacking you on this site. But.... If you write something calling someone a liar or unfairly impugn someone's character, I'm going to call you on it. If you want to re-write history -- especially about items previously talked about on this thread, I'm going to correct you. If you describe a story in a way that is not false, but is misleading such that it gives the reader the wrong impression, I'm going to fill in the missing details. I guess that's a long way of saying, I'm trying to prevent propaganda. Just so you don't write a post about me accusing you of being a Nazi or something, this is the definition of propaganda I'm using: Propaganda is a form of communication aimed towards influencing the attitude of a population toward some cause or position. Propaganda is information that is not impartial and used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively (thus possibly lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or using loaded messages to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. Propaganda can be used as a form of ideological or commercial warfare.

Robert, The posts were not about Marla's story, but your inconsistency. Just like in Orwell's 1984, if you want to change people's opinions, just say the opposite of what really happened often enough and people will eventually believe the new 'truth'. Do you need more examples: You say this often...when did you first start saying complaining about lack of response from the FBI: October 30, 2010, almost a year before Marla became public, you wrote this: "One thing I can't figure out about the Seattle FBI lately is this: Back in 2008 you have Larry Carr making a video and asking the public for their help in solving the hijacking. But when you try to contact them or ask questions, they have clamped a lid down on any comments to the public, and this means everybody. What in the heck is THAT about? Investigation is a two-way street and if you can't go to the source (the FBI) and get some simple questions answered, then how can you assist them in solving the case? " http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3983825#3983825 Do you want more? You complained about Georger's comments from Bruce Kitt of the NWA Museum...You questioned the validity of those posts or whether Georger posted some comments without permission. Let's let Bruce speak for himself: "Tom Kaye, a forensic scientist with Citizens Sleuths, gave an update on independent analysis of items from the FBI’s evidence of the hijacking. I thought his talk did much to dismiss the theory of Kenny Christensen being Dan Cooper and provide information on the buried $20 dollar bills found along the bank of the Columbia River in 1980" Source: http://www.nwahistory.org/newsletter/13_fall_newsletter_a.pdf Regarding Marla, you seem to bypass Bruce's question: Why did the FBI say LD Cooper was a promising suspect? Did she tell them something that might have matched some information about Cooper that the FBI never released? We may never know. And, the Facebook postings your alter ego Jane Smith retrieved show nothing more than someone who felt she stumbled onto solving the crime of the century and was going to write a book and make some money off of it. In that regard, she's no different than you.

Hmmmmm....it's too bad we don't have a record on here of all the posts on here.....Wait! We do! This is the first post about L.D. Cooper on Dropzone. It was August 3, 2011 at 4:22 a.m. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4162080#4162080 After a great deal of meticulous research, when did Robert first comment on Marla's story? August 3, 2011 at 8:11 p.m. Less than 16 hours later, Robert starts out with "There are more holes in the LD story than a five-pound block of Swiss cheese". http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4162864#4162864 Evidentally, the FBI are either brilliant or idiots. In this case they must have been idiots.
-
Ooops....I hope you didn't leak the gender of your latest witness.
-
I don't know how you know this. When Carr arrived in Seattle, he took a great interest in the case. He reviewed many of the suspects. He had a lot of contact with Gray. It's difficult to imagine he would not have taken a good look at Kenny C. You might not like how much time and effort the FBI put into Kenny, but I don't think they ignored him.

Well, I've finally done it. I've just completed a 750 page PDF file that proves conclusively that actor Christopher Walken was the notorious DB Cooper. I've talked to several witnesses who say he could be the hijacker and can prove that Mr. Walken has much more money after 1972 than he did before 1972. You people who say he was too young or doesn't match the description are just haters! As a result, I don't trust any of you, so I won't be sharing the PDF! I will only share it with reporters who have won at least two Pulitzer prizes or with law enforcement officials who helped find Osama Bin Laden. I know you guys really want to see it, but in the words of Albert Einstein "neener neener neener". Because the truth is all that matters!
-
Just saying.

What is this, high school? Robert, if you don't want to tell this forum anything, don't tell this forum anything. But, why do you post to say you're not going to post? And, you wonder why you're not welcome at the other site.....

What????!!!!!!! Has something happened to President Kennedy?
-
It's strange that we now question things, and all of the sudden new parts are adding to the story that hasn't changed for years...probably more people who "disappeared", or claim everything is true without backing anything up except the word of the alleged person. they call them "reruns" on television. same old tune. Well, I'm willing to wait and see what Robert comes up with. However, if it's just someone who "corroborates" the other witnesses, that doesn't really help because none of the witnesses were willing to say Kenny was the hijacker. Now, if this new witness can actually put Kenny on the plane, then I trust this information will be forwarded to the FBI.
-
If that's true, Robert, why limit it to just Christiansen? If you can't trust this site, how can you post anything about any other suspect? It was several months ago you decided to not respond to questions about Christiansen. Then, the reason was you wanted to wait for your presentation. Now, it's that nobody can be trusted. You were ok with posting for years with the same type of response on this forum, until people started looking into your claims and found inconsistencies. Now, you refuse to back up any of your claims. That's not the way someone who's just looking for the truth would act.
-
It just goes to show that people with preferred Cooper suspects will hear what they want to hear, and filter out what doesn't match the preferred story. It would be interesting to hear more of Dawn Androsko's story. Someone she doesn't know lends her the present day equivalent of $25000? Somehow she pays it back in two years as a single mother with three kids? There's no paperwork supporting it? I suspect Robert heard what he wanted to hear? I wonder what he didn't hear.
-
You don't know me. You've never even met me. You make a lot of assumptions. Basically, you are trying to call me 'stupid'. (Unfortunately, you get the role of 'Otto' here, not Jamie Lee Curtis.) That's great, professor. Hey...check this out. When you reach more than FIFTY books edited for others and create nearly FIVE HUNDRED illustrated articles viewed by a ton of folks, both done over the last seven years...then you can stand in judgment on how unintelligent I am, or what I am capable of. Robert, I know it seems like Georger jumps on you for anything you write, but in this case, he's making an honest post. The stuff Georger is talking about is way above MY head, and probably most of people on this forum. That is not to say any of us couldn't get some education and learn about that kind of stuff. But, publishing books does not make anyone any more qualified.
-
Hmmmmm....Why didn't I guess it? Robert won't post the PDF because he's not allowed to post on the other site. It's so clear - it's just spite! Why is it spite? Because the number of media people following the case or law enforcement people who might actually investigate is probably very small. So, Robert spent hours preparing a new document that possibly nobody will ever see. I have to believe if you had discovered anything new, you'd shout it from the rooftops. But, hey, it's your PDF. But still, let's correct a few things. That's not true. Gray's case was based on Lyle's allegation and Kenny's photo looking similar to the drawing. "Blast"'s case, according to the preface to the book, is that Kenny lived a different life after the hijacking rather than before. Gray didn't get into Kenny's finances or change in lifestyle at all. It's "Ten dollars and other consideration". Consideration is what each party gives up in a contract. There is no contract if there is not consideration on both sides. "Ten dollars and other consideration" indicates Kenny gave up something in exchange for the real estate. That just means they didn't include the exact sales price in the contract. Any lawyers on the site can feel free to correct me if my business law class memories are off.

Yep.....Mr. Shutter is willing to take an open minded look at any and all suspects and review any and all evidence. Damn! I hate "slanted agendas".
-
Robert isn't going to answer it. He's going to wait until August 9 to announce it. But, those of you who don't live in Washington won't be able to attend and he's not going to publish his PDF for the public. Sorry, non-Washintonians. It sucks to be you. But, in reading those documents I think Dawn had power of attorney for Richard and later inherited his property, so I think that was her father.
