Hi Bigun, my PCTools warns me about potentially harmful websites and I damned well don't visit'em. But even if it is supposedly clean, I double check afterwards. Just like skydiving, check your gear before and after... How many people don't inspect their PC, bridle, main, lines & risers as they repack. They go with a simple harness & pincheck jump after jump. Me neither... I've not experienced major issues with MS XP/Vista. And I like Vista better than XP. I watch carefully what I download and what sites I visit. I exclusively utilize PCTools software to protect my PC, I look closely at every prompt and regularly scan/clean my registry, defrag and maximize. If I visit a site for the first time, I will run a full scan to see if I picked up any nasties. While MS does have a bad rep... Many forget to check for Updates/Patches. And I think much is brought on by the users habits online, by their not understanding how to setup antivirus/etc software and not performing regular scans/maintenance. Hi'ya peeps, I'm curious as to how much my fellow jumpers get around. How many DZs have you jumped at? I love the different personality/characterof each DZ, meeting the people, jumping different aircraft & seeing how each deals with common issues to the sport, e.g. separating high performance from standard landings, group separation and etc. 100 DZs was always a personal goal, mission accomplished As is jumping in all 50 states... I know there is a small group who've managed all 50 states, and that is on my life list of accomplishments. I used to drive 18 wheels long haul across the US/Can, needless to say I've been around the block a few times. 600+ jumps 42 States 100+ DZs 36 fixed & 6 rotary wing aircraft. I'd like to announce the birth of my first daughter, Shannara. She joins us as our third child, sister to her two older bros, 10yrs/3yrs. Born today 09/18/08 at 15:37pm, weighing/measuring 9lbs/15oz & 22" long. Mother & daughter are doing absolutely awesome. It was a 7.5 labor/delivery, labor was induced, no pain medication.
