Yes I have jumped one for the last 10 years no problems at all. In reply about setting one, press the up or down button the solid beeps= 1000 feet the spaced beeps=500 feet. Example 3constant beeps =3000 feet a beep spaced a little bit later =500 feet total is 3500 feet. DavidQuote

HI, the specs look good. Has a remote input wide angle lens but I could not find any aftermarket lens adaptors or remotes. The wide angle lens from Panasonic is very expensive.Check out the review on www.dpreviews.com sorry don't know how to make clicky. David

Bat-Rak VS. New Optik Illusion???????
jedeisurf replied to lowpullin1's topic in Photography and Video
Damn very nice stuff but I have access to a metal shop so I would make my own stuff. Was thinking about making a bracket like Rawa offers but it would have snag points any thoughts. Also how many of you shoot your stills in vertical format -
Hi just wondering if you think you could mount a slr camera and a pc sony camera on that very nice helmet Thanks David
-
Hey Steve if we are not very busy this weekend we can get some cool pix of booth of us see you this weekend. David
-
Hi Steve if it is working good for you just paint it black with some plastic paint should look much better. David
-
You just need to make sure that you get it in the locked position. Sunday I was rear float on a aff jump after I was in position I realized my sight was off I know my set up and the student was in frame the whole time. Kind of makes me wonder if I need that extra snag point. David

jedeisurf replied to skyhighkiy's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
On Brian's web site you can view some exerts on his books. www.bigairsportz. com sorry about the cut and paste. David -
Thanks, for every ones input. I was just looking for opinions on the matter. Being the good law abiding rigger that I am I will go ahead and remove the Cypres and have a very nice paper weight. Again thanks for the input. David

Thanks for the input Keith as you know I am pretty serious about getting this rating. Thanks David
-
Hi aware that my ticket is on the line but was not aware of the pilots ticket on the line also. Thanks David
-
Yes I am a rigger and would never take a chance on a customers rig. David
-
NO not a troll just a poor rigger. I am talking about my personal rig I very seldom let any one jump it. NOT A TROLL GET REAL you can see my profile I am not hiding anything from any one. David
-
Hi every one my cypres is about to reach it's 12 year cycle I don't have the funds for a new one. On my customers rigs I won't pack them if the batts are out of date or in need of factory service. Do you think that I should pull it out THIS IS MY PERSONAL RIG.Thanks for your input. David
-
Oh boy I myself would like as much info as possible on lap tops. I am working at a new dz and they still use the good old cheap mixing board. The dz that I used to work at really liked what we could do with non liner editing and I would like to keep offering my customers that kind of quality plus the DVD option. David

Dealing with line twists on elliptical canopies
jedeisurf replied to Mad47's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
I had 7 twist on Sunday which was very odd on my CF 109 my time out was doing the double beep thing at around 1700 I went for my handles and then I started spinning out of the twist. The nice thing was the canopy was stable the whole time but I just couldn't get it to unspin. Was more than likely caused buy very impaired packing don't pack hours after the beer light has come on duh. David -
Hey Steve how about ONE EYE IN THE SKY VIDEO PRODUCTIONS. David

Hi, Todd My doctor told me that I could start jumping 6 months after my surgery, so of course I went out and jumped that weekend no problems but I took another 6 months off due to the fact I was jumping a jedei loaded at 1:6. I have been fine since most doctors don't understand anything about jumping they still think we pound in under rounds. Thanks David
