  1. Yes I have jumped one for the last 10 years no problems at all. In reply about setting one, press the up or down button the solid beeps= 1000 feet the spaced beeps=500 feet. Example 3constant beeps =3000 feet a beep spaced a little bit later =500 feet total is 3500 feet. DavidQuote

  3. HI, the specs look good. Has a remote input wide angle lens but I could not find any aftermarket lens adaptors or remotes. The wide angle lens from Panasonic is very expensive.Check out the review on www.dpreviews.com sorry don't know how to make clicky. David
  4. Hi i have been using radio shack6 volt lithium photo batteries model #2CR-1/N CATALOG #IS 23266. This battery is a replacement for Duracell px28l and the eveready l544 cost at the shack is $9.39and are usually in stock in all stores. You may find them at photo stores also. Thanks David
  5. Damn very nice stuff but I have access to a metal shop so I would make my own stuff. Was thinking about making a bracket like Rawa offers but it would have snag points any thoughts. Also how many of you shoot your stills in vertical format

  9. You just need to make sure that you get it in the locked position. Sunday I was rear float on a aff jump after I was in position I realized my sight was off I know my set up and the student was in frame the whole time. Kind of makes me wonder if I need that extra snag point. David

  19. Hi every one my cypres is about to reach it's 12 year cycle I don't have the funds for a new one. On my customers rigs I won't pack them if the batts are out of date or in need of factory service. Do you think that I should pull it out THIS IS MY PERSONAL RIG.Thanks for your input. David
  20. Oh boy I myself would like as much info as possible on lap tops. I am working at a new dz and they still use the good old cheap mixing board. The dz that I used to work at really liked what we could do with non liner editing and I would like to keep offering my customers that kind of quality plus the DVD option. David
  21. I had 7 twist on Sunday which was very odd on my CF 109 my time out was doing the double beep thing at around 1700 I went for my handles and then I started spinning out of the twist. The nice thing was the canopy was stable the whole time but I just couldn't get it to unspin. Was more than likely caused buy very impaired packing don't pack hours after the beer light has come on duh. David

Hi, Todd My doctor told me that I could start jumping 6 months after my surgery, so of course I went out and jumped that weekend no problems but I took another 6 months off due to the fact I was jumping a jedei loaded at 1:6. I have been fine since most doctors don't understand anything about jumping they still think we pound in under rounds. Thanks David
