  1. Whoops sorry, I already sent half of the Swedish Bikini team you ordered with your rig to the home address. I hope the wife doesnt get them. Let me know if you need a place to stay.
  2. I had to call and cancel the case of beer and hot girl, we reserve them for Mirage owners. I'll be happy to help you to get in one though.
  3. In our defense, we get around 1200 spam emails a day and our spam killer unfortunately kills some of the good ones. I apologize if no one got back to you but the 50% military discount is no longer available. We do still offer a military discount. You can email me personally at ward@miragesys.com for details.
  4. Hi Chad, I work at Mirage and would love to give you the lowdown on our product. Call me at the office at 386-740-9222 9-6 mon through Friday and I'll tell you all I know.
  5. I might be able to accomodate, what type of rig do you jump though?
  6. With all due respect guys I have to give credit where credit is due. It was our designer Jeff Johnson that knew how to fix your rig, it was because of his quick work and expertise that your rig is a glove on your back. Actually he is the reason for this amazing product so I want to make sure the credit is going where it should be. And, its Mirage that is doing all the good service. I just follow the policy of the company and its standards set so you're right, Go Mirage.
  7. Thanks folks!!! Our product speaks for itself, I am just trying to make the service as good. If anyone out there needs anything at all, drop me a line. I'm glad you guys like your rigs. If you need anything at all hit me up. ward
  8. hey Jeff, Glad to hear the rig made it to you in time for the boogie. let me know if I can do anything else for you in the future. ward
  9. Just want to answer your last sentence in this post. One manufacturer does financing.......MIRAGE. No payments and no interest for a year. With a 4 week delivery, just food for thought.
  10. Unfortunately yes, but 10 working days is not the norm. I babysat that rig a bit. 4 weeks is normal for the most part after beefing up production. Do you have a mirage on order that you want to tweak?
  11. Hey, Whats up, Ward here, It looks like I might have lied to you about that 3 week thing. a week from tomorrow is 3 weeks.....and.......well um......its going to be done in two more days so looks like its going to be less than 3 weeks, you don't mind do you?
  12. The Central Florida news keeps reporting that Gus is in stable condition and alive. That was reported at 5pm florida time. Someone better make sure before a whole lot of people are terribly upset without reason.
  13. Thanks Ganj, Well I am not absolutely sure on this but I think Airtec actually wanted the cutter to be above the spring originally but ok'd it other places for aesthetic reasons......However I am not totally positive of this. What I am positive of is...our designer worked very closely with airtec (Kai) about the moving of the cutter position for a while before we officially announced the psb, lots of testing and other work went into the psb long before it went public. thanks again for the congrats. shrek
  14. Just to answer a couple of questions presented here on this forum. All I know is from the data and the testing that we have on a reserve bridle creating sufficient drag. All of the testing shows that it just isn't sufficient drag to pull the bag from the container. Now.....if the bag were to get into the airstream, such as when it falls out of an open main container, the bag itself will create enough drag to trail behind as you have seen on video but the bridle line won't pull it out. You can see on videos of a main bag out of the container and until it gets into clean air it will just sit there. The reserve spring did have a slight bend in it but not even close enough of a bend for the energy of the spring to be directed out the side on launch. The energy of the launch on all ten tests performed here was normal and within satisfactory perameters. If you have seen how the psb mod is done then you know that there is nothing for anything to be snagged on and that it could not be a factor in this situation. Even if the cypress had cut the loop rather then the jumper deploying the reserve, since the modification was done it wouldnt have affected reserve deployment in any way, thats the reason we are having the mod done, so that there is no chance of anything less than a normal reserve deployment. Unfortunately, no matter how strong a reserve pilot chute spring is, there is a chance of it getting into the jumpers burble on launch. The stronger the spring the lesser the chance of this, hence the strength of our spring but it is a phenomenon that just can't be prevented entirely. As far as this particular instance, from our findings of the rig, it performed as it should have with no defect in equipment whatsoever. In my PERSONAL opinion it was a burble type situation that cleared and but you're right, we will never know for absolutely sure, but I urge the skydiving community to not be so quick to say the sky is falling about our psb mod. We did it to make our extremely safe rigs even safer. If anyone doesnt have a thorough understanding of the psb and the whats and hows of it feel free to contact me at the factory and I will be glad to explain it.
  15. Hey Pendejo, Just a couple questions, where were you when you witnessed it, in the air with him, if so how far away, or on the ground? And about the reserve freebag bridle, it was originally designed that way in hopes to create sufficient drag to deploy the reserve in the event of a horseshoe. However, that is actually a myth, it won't create enough drag. There is tons of data and testing proving that its not possible. They even sewed nylon pockets all down the bridle and that still wouldn't deploy it. If you watch the movie bread-away some of that footage where the bridle is just trailing behind are some of the actual test jumps to see if the bridle would deploy the reserve. Congrats on the aff by the way.

The Unisyn harness is worth every penny. It is a patented design that no one else is using. When you get hip rings the rings are at a lower point then the unisyn and all ow your legs to move freely without bunching but when you bend at the waist, the laterel will still bind. With the unisyn, the ring is at a higher point which allows the legs to pivot on that point and also to pivot when you bend at the waist, and no binding of anything. Also, the chest rings allow for you to draw your chest strap as tight or as loose as you like and then the main lift web will then be able to pivot on the chist ring and run straight to the hip ring point with no binding of anything. If you have a standard ring try touching your two main lift webs on each side together and see how much of a bind there is where the chest strap attaches to the main lift web, with the unisyn, that doesnt happen. And all the hardware is padded behind it for comfort. The rig truly moves with your body no matter how you move, and with the g4 inset stabilizers and the backpad are standard and no additional charge so it really conforms to your body and adds to the comfort.
  17. Leave it to Bob to find a way to get the t's crossed and the i's dotted. But I think he DID get insurance of some type or other for the boogie but I don't know the details. They did have a jumper clip a power line with her feet while she was coming over and caused a hard landing, nothing serious, either bruised or broken tail bone. It was definately well planned out and experienced jumpers were there but there were some serious underlying politics going on with the city that hosed them.
  18. I just spoke to Bob and the jumping has moved to Skydive La-Belle or just La-Belle. Either one its called.......its about 30 Mi. east of Ft. Myers and they are moving the planes and most of the jumpers are going there to finish out the jumping. Kudos for Bob for pulling another one out of his ass so skydivers could skydive. The city of Marco Island, really screwed Skydive Greensburg, after they asked him four days ago for half a million dollars of insurance to cover a boogie that they knew they were going to pull the plug on. thats the scoop though folks, Bob asked me to post it.
  19. Here is a little one I use when I am showing them the rig we are going to use. i say we have two parachutes, a main and a reserve, if something is wrong with the main, we pull one handle and its gone and we can use the reserve. If something is wrong with the reserve just follow me down the long tunnel to the white light, there should be some grandparents, kids, dogs, etc......there getting the party started.
  20. Well, well, well, I see my South Carolina family that I love so much has found me here. I miss you guys a ton. 365 days ago I had just left you for shameless sex in the Bahamas. Ok, for all the previous posts, yes I am a whore I'll put you on in 5 different names to thank you. No amount of money will keep those pictures off the web, expect them in just a couple of days. My favorite is the one with Phils head up Wendy's skirt, well at least I think it's phil, I recognized the neck. Yes we did raist over 6000, but as skydivers you know how much gear you can get for 6000. Imagine restaffing a dz for that. But.........please don't let it seem that we are not grateful because holy shit we are!!!!!!!!!!! What we still need, everything would be great but some audibles for the students are one thing for sure. And also a Mirage g4, with another velocity 96. It would greatly benefit the dz. Ok, it would greatly benefit me but oh well. Keep checking the site for updates and the soon to be posted raunchy pics. thanks again so much to everyone. And hey Wally, and Christian, Miss you guys. Ward (Shrek)
