Deployed with my helmet in hand!
dunesurfer replied to linny's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I have deployed with a shoein my hand before. I pulled a buddies shoe off in a poorly done sit train. Holding the shoe cupped in my rt hand, I still thought I had a grip on him. I flew a sit holding the shoe, switched hands to deploy(touched the shoe to my head) and handed it back to him in the landing area -

Can anyone recommend a DZ in Kansas or Missouri?
dunesurfer replied to dunesurfer's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I am planning a cross country trip with several stops along the way and hope to jump when I find the opportunity. I have checked the DZ reviews, but it is hard to tell if they are objective...... many reviews were written by DZO's or DZ employees. Any information would be greatly appreciated. -
I first switched to snuff (Skoal). Dipping gave me the nicotine fix while allowing me to break the ritual of the cigarette: lighting, that first puff, crushing it out. The Skoal was far easier to quit than cigarettes after that point..... at least in my experience

Don't forget Nissan Titan is availible as FFV. I want another bonus next year!

Geez, my brain is putty today! You are most correct. Fuel consumption would increase. I need to proof read this stuff before I press the magic button
-
Finally found it: Btu/gallon, ethanol=76000 Btu/gallon,gasoline=114000
-
No, decrease. Ethanol contains less energy than gasoline. The lower cost is supposed to offset this.
-
You may notice a decrease in economy using E85. Also, below is from research I did on E85 for work. Limits to E85 fuel: Temps above 90deg F may induce hard start and rough idle. Temps below 0F may produce hard starting and poor drivability. 5w30 engine oil is recommended when using E85. E85 contains less energy than gasoline per gallon. Fuel economy may decrease by 30% compared to gasoline operation. switching back and forth between E85 and gasoline may cause drivability concerns. edited because I am a tard.

Ethanol has corrosive properties. We(NMC) offer the Titan pickup in FFV config (flexible fuel veh) which has several changes to the fuel system to accomodate the ethanol. You might void your warranty coverage of related parts if they were damaged by using E85

I would not be surprised if the whole point was to remove $75 from your wallet

Abso-damm-lutely! I spent some time in the Dominican Republic. They had a very good local rum that was even cheaper than the local beer. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me though. It was made in Puerta Plata in the 80's.

She was rude to me: Alice said: Hello there you rotten bastard and thanks for coming to talk! Alice said: Welcome to my chat room, I have a gerbil in my ass.

One difference also is pack volume... the 7 cell 190 has a smaller pack volume than the 9 cell 190. The best advice is demo them both and decide for yourself which one you prefer.

hahahaha..... i just read all my post from last night. how fucking ridiculous! my knee's fine... will be back in a week and a half. thanks for askin. Which Ted are ya? BTW... there's pictures of my boyfriend Patrick Swayze in the Bombshelter. The comment about Jim Wallace doesn't seem too far off, although I don't know specifics. I am the tall, good looking one, haha Remember the guy you kept smacking in the head in the otter? Thats me. I landed just ahead of you on that last load sunday and just after your friend(can't remember his name, but a gust almost dropped me on top of him) Ask Jim the next time you see him...He has Swayze in his list of famous students.
-
I believe Jim Wallace was his AFF JM.

The white substance would be urates Snakes do not have a urinary tract and process urates as whitish crystals. -
Pessimists? F**k em. They expect to be let down anyway so nothing to lose there.

I have several snakes, and my ball pythons have the most tempermental appetites of all of them. My female ball will only eat rats, and they must be white. Any color on them and she refuses. Ocasionally she will constrict prey then not eat it.(she even constricts frozen and thawed)She will also alternately refuse food for several months, then binge, eating every few days for 2 weeks straight. She never loses any body mass during her hunger strikes so I have learned not to stress over her odd behavior.

Pepper is single again... his mate passed on early in the year(snow corn) However he might have isues with a long distance relationship. Do you keep any other snakes?
