Yes in the DZO's student gear. I jumped the main that I plan on using in this water rig a few times it is a pretty decent main just huge. -

Yeah Idk what I will do, my rigger said it was in good shape and safe to jump. I have 3 of them and they cost me $40 for all 3. One of our local DZ's closed down and he was selling them cheap, they where in the student gear. -

Lol you should have went to the FJC that I went to I flew a few 5 cells. There fun until you land its a little hard. Lol maybe my fault or just the canopy with a few thousand jumps on it. -

The one I have taken out of the reserve free bag was made in 1981. I had a rigger pull test it and it was fine. From what I have found different years and lots were bad and some where good. -

i am looking at building a water rig to jump. I have a reserve that is called a safety star built by Para-flight-inc I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it? It does not show what size it is or anything like that. It looks brand new with zero rises on it. Where they any good and anything else you could tell me would be helpful. -
While i agree with what a lot of you are saying about needing more jumps I have to say that it is also a case by case basis. I am going to get my coach rating at the end of the month I am pretty good on my belly im not perfect and probably never will be I have just over 100 jumps but i love teaching and I jump at a small 182 drop zone so i get to help with our S/L FJC. I just want to give back our DZ does not pay its instructors either. I also believe that I am ready for my coach rating not necessarily to teach jumpers with hundreds of more jumps than me but to teach and mentor new jumpers. Id love to hear everyones opinion on my situation.

I just bought a Pulse 170 WL at 1.25 and it is a nice canopy plenty of flare it shuts down nice. Its not really all that agressive i have put a few jumps on a 168 pilot and it seemed faster and more agressive but i love the way it packs. As i get more jumps on it ill post back on here.
