A military helmet is not designed to withstand a direct hit from a sniper bullet, but will stop almost any kind of shrapnel. I am so sorry, but McCain is not an evil - he is a 72 year old self centered brat who is still in intellectual puberty. One can like and dislike candidates. I never liked the personality of neither Clinton, and to George W. Bush they were the lesser evil. What amazes me with McCain is that he is opposing a bona fide strong and good candidate. Actually doc while perhaps technically astute in the medical profession you seem not to grasp certain simple basic concepts: Americans should not go to emergency rooms for treatable conditions like asthma, because they should be able to afford preventive treatment.
