So I'm headed to the parachute center! anyone wanna get some jumps in? get some drinks in? If so I'll be there april 8th. I'll be there for a couple of weeks! anyone ever stay in their bunkhouse? if its pretty gnarly I might just bring a tent.

  6. SO if I was to have a new harness built do I have to have it sent back to the manufacturer or could I have it done by a rigger at the dropzone?
  7. I'm thinking about getting this used Vector3 v357 spectre 210 & raven 249. harness size 18.5 +2. it's built for someone 6' 2". 225lbs 45" waist 22" torso and 32.5" inseam and 47.5" chest. I am 5'8", 32"waist, 165 lbs. My question is, what with the harness being built for someone so large would I be able to have it resized to fit me? And if I could get it resized, approximately how long and how much would it take?

  11. Actually I'm moving to El reno from Montana for work and I'm curious what everyone has to say about the dropzones around OKC. Can I pitch a tent at their dropzones, jump ticket prices, gear rentals? all those kinds of things. I'm gonna check out all the dropzones when I get down there but I just want to see what people have to say. thanks for the info
  12. Wow it sounds like you are literally in the exact same position as me. I've got months before I need to go back to work & money stacked up. My ultimate goal is Base Jump as well.... I started at skydiveAZ last week. And it's a pretty sick place to go I'm also living at the dropzone in the bunkhouse . Check out their website they've got different package plans depending on how much time and money u want to spend. And it's sunny skies all year round With some of the best instructors that have 10,000+ jumps. One of my instructors had 15,000 jumps.
  13. Well I'm booking my ticket & calling the dropzone tomorrow. So hopefully sometime in the next few weeks I'll be licensed to skydive... WOO!
