I have heard of people using turbo tax or tax cut to write off gear and other stuff for skydiving.. I am a video man at a dropzone and have saved all my receipts for everything i get.. I was woundering how to go about deducting this stuff. I live in Indiana and I have heard of some doing this.. Just wondering how to go about deducting this stuff.

Maybe I just read your post wrong but you said small plane operation dropzones won't build your confidence? If your jump numbers are right you have a long why to go to talk about how small aircraft are not as good as a confidence builder as large ones. I'm just guessing here but you jump at greensburg and all you have jumped is big aircraft. THere is plenty to learn and just as much or more confidence can be build at a small aircraft DZ. YOu do not have to have a big airplane to get great results in your skydive.. If you look at the history of this sport not to long ago all there was to jump at your local DZ was small Aircraft, and us skydivers had to travel to big boogies to jump the big airplanes. The problem with today is that all these students are coming up in this sport are brought up that if the DZ has not got a big aircraft then it will not be as fun of a place and that the people should go to a place that has this big aircraft..... Just jump a older smaller aircraft it is just as fun and can be just as much of a confidence builder...

Very good place to jump!!!! Air Indiana is a good old friendly relaxed small dropzone. I jump there and I love it. Wide open landing area and great instructors. I have been jumping with these guys for a long time.. I would not trade them for anyone.. Also Hey Val. Can't wait to jump with you agian......

right now i have the 300D the first canon rebel digital, not the 350D. I was wondering if you could let me know where and what area is discussed on that page in the XT manual. I have looked over the manual and can't find it.. So I'm thinking it either can't be done or I have not been looking in the right areas.

do you know how to set it up on the camera

Am i wrong or right, I heard that the XT can shoot in black and white, or can rebel do this and its just the way you set it up??

i pack fpr a guy who has a sabre 150 and what i do is to tuck the nose in (not rolling it). Bring the slider all the way to the front (not quatering it) and then fold over the stablizers. After that make sure to roll the tail good and tight. stow your lines good and snug. He has to this day not complained or had a hard openning. I have jumped it myself..

Is there any way to get more transtions, and effects out there for IMOVIE HD that I can get.

I have a dig. rebel and just this weekend I started having problems with the bite switch for it. Every time i plug it in the camera continuiously fires and does not stop. I have tried turnning it off and even removing the battery. I think i may have broke the bit switch and know it is pressed all the time. I have the bite switch that has the red center.

How can i get a hold of the old IMOVIE 4 that was on the last imac g4. Also is it possible that the updates on apple site could solve this problem.. (check out the updates)

Its kind of werid I turned up the volume in the music think it would hide it but it don't. I can't figur it out. I have the new Imovie HD on my Imac g5. I have worked on a powermac G4 and and Imac G4 and they do not do it. So I am at a lose I have tried different things and the only why so far is to uncheck the check mark and shut off all audio to that line but that can't be done for tandems so I need someone who has worked on the new imoive by imac on a G5 and if they have had this problem. And how to go about fixing it. I have tried redoing the video and extracting audio. With the extracting audio what is the best way to fix that. PLEASE HELP IT IS VERY IMPORTANT

Yes its imovie i am using and its the transition entering and exiting. The thing is at the begining the transtions work fine. Then ltr in the movie it starts doing it. Basicialy when i start cuting clips and adding transitions between the cut clips.

Has anybody had problems with the imac's G5 transititons, any of them, makeing a stratchy nosie or some kind of nosie when entering and exiting the transition. I turned the volume down on the transition but i still get that noise. The only way i can make it stop is to un-check the check mark at the right side of the timeline. But then that takes the voices away too. Some of the time it does it and some of the time it don't. Can someone help me in solving this problem. THANKS

Great new DZ for those in indiana near the lafayette aera. Air Indiana Skydiving Center located in Flora Indiana has just openned up last weekend and is great place to jump. They are able to do tandems, aff, and IAD. They have all new ZP mantas and New mirage RTS for the students. They are useing 2 vector tandem rigs for the tandem students. Also are able to do video giving the students DVD. Its a great place to be Congrats to Terry and Geroge.

Its a great place to jump wide open landing area. Fun place to be on a weekend. The 182 is very quick to 10,500 and they have great turn around time. I was amazed.. Congrats to George and Terry. Hope everything is a works out.
