Here's my old toy. I sold her this summer due to the fact I had no time to fix it up like I had planned when I bought her. It was a sad day in my house Chris It's Jimmy Time!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Fast-As-Fuck/6099474213

I proposed to my wife at Quincy. Her whole family is skydivers and she is not (for some odd reason). As well as a large circle of our friends. She made a Tandem and I was on the ground waiting for her. Her brother went on the skydive with her. I was just WAAAYY to nervious to even get on the plane with her. I was afraid of not making it back to the spectator landing area. All 15-20 of our friends were on the same load and all landed to watch. When she landed I hit a knee and the rest is a well secured memory. Chris It's Jimmy Time!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-Fast-As-Fuck/6099474213

When Sunny started this post that was my first thought also. But I was going to wait for someone else to bring it up since I live awful close and don't want a knock on the door followed by a SMACK. But in regards to Badder Santa " Your not going to shit right for a week!" is my favorite part Chris

I agree!!! A few years ago I sent them an e-mail asking for the size of zip ties they send with there cradles because I needed a couple more. They simply replied to me care package sent. When it arrived I had about 50 zip ties, 2 cradles, a leg mount cradle, goggle mount cradle, and 3 sets of battries!!! They hooked me up!!!! L & B has awsome customer service. Chris

An opportunity maybe coming my way next year to move to the Atlanta area (Griffin, Macon)and I was wanting some feedback pros and cons. My wife and I have 3 kids and was also wondering about school systems and other areas of concern for them. Crime rates etc... Any web sites on such info would be helpful as we start investigating early. I already can tell by the posts here that I will have no problems with the skydiving lifestyle. But I will miss Skydive Chicago and only being 2 hours from Rantoul. Thanks for your help in advance. Chris

Do You use Packing Mat... Weight while packing?
cderham replied to Kid_Icarus's topic in The Bonfire
I usually use a packer Chris Edit - Cause Chop Chop beat me too it -
Go progressive - I put springs up front and upped the fork oil weight. I also lowerd the front 2 1/2" with 3 deg raked wide glide trees. Went with 11" Progressive 412's on the rear. Progressive makes multiple rears so log on to there web site and ask the experts thru the message board. explain what you want or expect and they will tell you which is the best for your expectations. Also check out www.xlfourms.net but you have to be careful. Ther are alot of people who know what they are talking about but also a few who have missed the boat JMO. Chris

But ride one!!! When I passed a car changed lanes (in a wheelie) and looked down at the speedo (110mph) in no time. I damn near wet myself. I thought I was over that whole speed thing but obviously not. I'd add one to my garage just for fun factor. Besides streach it lower it paint it and add turbo and nitrous holy shit my sex life would never be the same!!!!!!!!!! Chris

The newer softails with the twin cam (88B) engines run just as smooth as a rubber mount if not smoother. Now the suspension on softails could improve but that is a function that you give up for the look of a hardtail. I find it better then my sporty that has about 1-1 1/2" of rear suspension travel due to the ride height. Once again the things we give up for looks. I can't lean as much or corner as hard but my center of gravity is down there with a softail. If I was looking for a bike to ride like that I would own a Buell or a Hyabusa!! Chris Toys - No matter how many I have I still want more!!

I completely agree. The hyper charger is just for that looks. Like I said I like to watch the butterflies open up when I gas it It does add flow but as you said the screamin Eagle air cleaner has the best balance. I actually have parts on my bike that hamper performance for looks. My bike will run but I also like to have it win a trophy in a show also. There are better pipes / aircleaners / carbs / etc... then what I am running and I can gain horse power by switching but then I would lose jump money on buying new parts. Chris

It made a little difference but not enough to really notice. I do notice that my jetting is alittle more critical to temp and weather. I just like the way the butterflies open and close as I gas it -- Thats Cooool!!!! Chris

I get the same sportster crap!!! I even get wow thats a nice bike for a sportster. I love it when I get put into larger classes because of the modifications I have made and beat the same guy that was looking down at my bike. Then when I ask if they want to race as well they really shut up! IMO the sportster is the perfect Harley (for my needs) Its fast and can be made ALOT faster. It handles great. and for no more then the distances I ride 300-400 miles a day when I ride. I know I've been riding! Don't get me wrong I'm looking at Road Kings and Ultra's in the next couple of years but I will still keep my sporty! Chris
