where were you when i was laid up in the hospital for 2 weeks??? Comic relief was desperately needed. a no wind day AND was losing altitude fast. Sorry if i made it sound like one was related to the other.I had to travel further to comply with the left handed pattern. Well hon. Here I was, @ at DZ that has had NOTHING but fatalities and injuries for the last few years that has a left handed landing pattern. I was loosing allitude big time on a no wind day, and I should have done a right hand pattern (would have costed me less allitude loss) but not to piss the SNTA off, i decided otherwise, and found my only out in the PEAS.... I landed, my foot dug in, and my body continued on.....it was a no wind landing,....lesson learned NEVER SECOND GUESS YOUR INTUITION!!!! -------------------------------------------------- Just remember.....if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

HI, A compound fracture & diclocated ankle, due to second quessing my first instincts has got me so totally bored that i HAVE to know how to start and continue a rubber band ball. I have four children and I jump.........they kinda like the idea that i do. They come with me to DZ's, some functions and know my jump buddies. They figure if Mom is happy then we are all happy. Last year they wanted to send me to the Eloy Boogie, because they knew I'd love it....but certain things kept me home. You need to be happy yourself before you can be happy with them and believe me, you are not going to pull the wool over your kids eyes. You live and learn .....and the saying ..if you have one or two REAL friends in a lifetime you are blessed.. is true. Unfortunately, accidents and operations help you learn this the hard way. I love my patients,(well, most of them) but my job sucks small hairy ones! Somedays I think I just may combust out of sheer boredom. I have reached my ceiling so the only move is horizontal, which leaves me sooo uninspired! I have been thinking of taking side trips next year to donate my skills on missionary excursions to third world countries....I am in the dental field. At least I'll be doing something needed and meaningful. Another option is to find a field where not many people have thought of entering ....thus giving me room to grow. Any suggestions??? -------------------------------------------------- Just remember.....if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Freaked another kids out today. He had two piercings in his lip. I told him I did this myself and could do one for him. He said no thanks. LOL Both stories are very funny!
