Thought I pulled a muscle but it was a cramp. Still wondering. Anyone else get a muscle cramp in their bum cheek? It hurts like crazy, and I never know how I do it. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

Wow how misleading can a headline be. Actually watched the interview and she didn't DEMAND anything. She was asked by interviewer if she would consider a seat on Trumps cabinet if asked and which one she would consider. She answered the Dept. of Energy. Must be a post 1980's thing. Even though like I mentioned my grandparents have called it McKinley. But hey what would they know or any of us that have lived here more the a few years. Come back and visit !! I promise you'll love it and have a great time !! Of course like any large city there are areas to stay away from and areas you definitely don't want to live. Of course people can do their research and become very knowledgable through reading about other people's experiences. Yes, I think there is a bit of the go away, but I would say its more of a "we want to keep what we have in resources here" type of thing. But mostly I feel everyone is very welcoming and it's amazing how quickly it feels like you've known someone forever. But then I will say having family here helps and it seems like a lot of people are from the WI,MN,MI area No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. Believe me I tried.

After 6 + years up here and grandparents 50+ years along with 2 aunts that lived here all their lives(40+) we've heard and talked about it both ways. As far as the article, you write what you experienced AND if you're one sided on an issue then of course what you write will reflect that. But hey what would we know. I agree with a lot in that article. But again it's a topic that gets talked about. There are "Alaskans" on both sides. And yes my grandfather is buried here. Also, just because you "traveled here" for a couple years doesn't make you the " all knowing expert" on Alaska. My grandparents have been here 50+ years so I think they have a little more knowledge then some of a 3 year period. No matter how slowly you say oranges it never sounds like gullible. It's something that's been talked about back and forth just like about everything else here. I don't see her as flip flopping, people change their views. Oh well! Still love Sarah!!! No I'm not "besties" with all cultures, but at the very least I live here. Do you? Funny but I don't just sit around and talk to my friends about an issue I'm interested I talk to a lot of people, including those I've just met. Some I don't even know their names. It's a little different here people are open and friendly, strangers don't stay stranger for long. My lot?? As in the people that actually live in the state? Basically, it's McKinley. But there are "groups" that decided it was time to get politically correct and change the name to Denali. Odd because we're a very politically incorrect state.
