Just a little something. Fast is nice and good, BUT. You do not have to have all the fastest drives like everyone thinks. Before you slam me they are nice, yes. But I started 3 years ago capturing with a 33, 5400 drive and it worked just fine. It matters just as much to have as little running in the background. Yes, now I have a much larger and faster machine, but that just makes things go smoother.

Well not knowing what video camera you are using and not trying to butt in, I have TRV-10 which I use a UV filter between my ring adapter and the .6 Sony wide angle. Works good for me. The filter was like $10-$15.

Thanks for the reply. A friend is the one that actually has it but anyway. I am the editor and have noticed many poor qualities and was wondering if the camera is bad? The first is the focus doesn't seem to function very well. The second is that there is white flashes (veryfast) as if there was some tape flutter do to wind or something, but this happens on the ground also. The third is where do you set the ND Filter and is this a Neutral Density Filter? Depending on where we tried it the focus ain't worth a damn for close up (like shooting your altimeter).
