Hi folks...Dan here. B licence with 228 jumps but haven't jumped in almost 4 years and just sent in my renewal for my USPA...It's been itchin' at me. I'll probably do my recert jumps at Perris or Elsinore but planning a trip to Arkansas in December to jump with my old dz SkyRanch in Siloam Springs, AR please feel free to make suggestions of things to brush up on...already halfway through my SIMS and it's helped... Single here too...Divorced 6 years ago and relationship free for last 5 years...a few 1 time dates but that's all. When I weigh a decision as to take someone out for dinner, I start thinking......"Wait a minute, that could be 5 jumps instead"! Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Heck yeah bring Faith into it!...I'm a Christian Skydiver and thank the Good Lord above for giving me/us the opportunity to experience His majesty in an awesome way! I'm also a member of the CSA and wear the patch proudly...occaisionally people ask me to pray with and for them...and I love bringing glory to the One Who's saved my life in many ways. It's just beyond me how anyone can skydive and NOT believe but I love all my skydiving family. I'm a good friend of Windcatcher's and we do have some really God-Centered times at the dz'z. Great Post Flygirl. Lord Bless you for it, Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Quote I do too! I pray for the safety of the pilot and jumpers and also for quick think should a malfunction occur...but I always pray that we have fun and learn something...I'm a Joy filled Christian and I assure you that Ying's opinion definitely doesn't apply to most of us...ask Christian Skydivers Association and the "Jesus Jumpers" Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Isaac or Ishmail... That's what it's all about.

But let's not forget the sacrifice of leaving His place in heavenly glory to enter our sin riddled time continuum...33 years of being fully man and yet fully God....feeling the pains, temptations, sorrows etc but did it for the Joy set before Him. The reason we have drunk driving deats and other tragedies is because of our sin nature from the "Fall" and we're all bent on having it our way, not God's. So, it may not be God's will that one should die in an accident but we know that He uses ALL things to work together for those who love Him...and it's all about His glory. He bought us back with the blood of a perfect sacrifice. ISAIAH 40:31 -

Hi all: Really new to RW and looking for some tips on first moves on 3 ways and 4 ways if only a C-182 is available. Been doing 2-ways pretty consistently, both on grips and not, but seems any attempts for 3 and 4 ways have been botched...I've got a pretty fast fall rate so maybe recomend a slot for me. I jump at Skydive SkyRanch in Siloam Springs, AR too. I'm not originally from that area but the jumpers there made me feel right at home from my first jump. I landed off zone into a cow pasture and someone picked me up with, of course, a pick up truck, and when I got back, about 5 of the regular jumpers shot me a moon. Been jumping there ever since and it just keeps getting better and the more seasoned jumpers' attitudes are contagious in that I want to pass it on to new jumpers too. 2 excellent c-182 pilots who keep things moving quick. An occaisional King Air is nice but when Wolf and Bradley are flying the Cessnas you hardly even miss the King. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

And a couple of good Christian Contemporary/Rock tunes, "Dive" by Steven Curtis Chapman and "Meant to Live" by Switchfoot. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Hi gang: What should be wearing out first on a PD 9 cell, F111? It's got 300 jumps and is 7 years old. Porosity? Lines? If it's in good shape, how much would it be worth in US bucks? Thanks, Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Sorry to keep bugging you guys but I'm a newbie piecing together a rig. Can any of you tell me about the "Aerial" main made by glidepath. I understand it was a lot like a sabre. The one I'm looking at has 300 jumps but it's a ZP. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Thanks Canuck and Kris. God Bless, Dan ISAIAH 40:31

OK Gang, Would someone tell me what a CRW flap is on a container and does it limit me in just regular belly flying? Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Thanks Canuck, I found it. Hey! Are you originally from Quebec, hence the name Canuck? I'm french, that's why I ask. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Hi all you experienced jumpers and riggers. Would someone tell me where I could find info on a harness/container made by "Stunts"? If you all know something, please feel free to let me know here. Thanks, Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Hi all: Just wondering how many of you got the opportunity, as I did, to do a Thanksgiving jump today. Or as I prefer to call it, "Gratitude Jump" Mine was here in Massachusetts where it was 25F and we went to 14,500 in the otter. Beautiful! We never really got cold. I think the adrenalyn kept us warm. I'm really grateful to be a part of this sport and the supportive group of people in it. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Dear Michele: What a priviledge to know you, albeit, from a distance. Your pain and your rejoicing over the goodness which lives in some is so very close to home for me. I've gone through a very difficult three years and this season in my life has taught me to look at the good in people and to share any goodness in myself to others. I hope we can continue to chat. God bless you always. Your writing has touched me deeply. What a perfect Thanksgiving Day story. Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Besides getting in as many jumps as I can, now that I have my "A" and enjoying myself, what objectives do I need to meet to attain a "B" license? If there's a link or a thread for this I would gladly take some redirection. Thanks, Dan ISAIAH 40:31

Oops! Thanks Wendy...I guess that's what I meant but I'll get one that's been thoroughly inspected. ISAIAH 40:31
