It is all about gathering enough data. Then whatever HE says, YOU are the one on the "receiving" end - so it finally comes to YOUR judgement.... I am not worried about the outcome

And yes, in my experience pdf has always longer brake lines. I shortened my springo 160 lines by 2 inches and my new 120 by 3 1/2. It gives me 1 1/2 to 2 inches of "slack" before the lines start being effective. I guess it is all about "personal preference" - so do NOT take this as an advise (yadiha disclaimer ). Now it also makes the "fold" easier, so you have to be carefull and not let anyone jump it (or brief them well on not flaring to their knees !!!!) Alex

Politically correct: I am a veterinarian, working for highest quality animal nutrition company, putting business plans, and marketign plans for our on-line channel. Reality: I try to sell dog food to whuffos on-line...

I used to jump a springo 160 - loved it - downsized to a stiletto 135 - loved it - tried a stiletto 120 - really loved it - and bought a springo 120 - which i will probably learn to love ! I will agree to everything that was said with the following: - The springo flies in a "healthier" way (but is a little less reactive) than the stiletto - more natural stability to the canopy. - Glide flight is definetely flatter, and makes for some surprises when you transition back to it, i.e looses lots of altitude in sharp turns, but flies "forever" straight and level ... - Openings witht the springo are less swivelly than the stiletto. Had very few bad opening on either so i would say that both canopies are generally good. (had a couple of line twists on a first opening with my springo 120 > had time to get out of it without any problem / got riser slapped by the stiletto...none of these pack jobs were mine ) Well, i would say that any canopy is good if you learn to play with it and you treat it with the respect due to high performance equipment !!!!

Suggestions are also to go to Zhill's. Being my dz i have no problems with that ... but need to get the group together first, and then arrange transportation etc etc etc. Put the word out for me ! Alex

Hi everyone, I am trying to put together a "vet's load" in january. Going to a professional conference (North American Vet Conference). Jann2nd wednesday) the conference is over, and it would be nice to go to Deland with a bunch of others (vet, techs, nurses, etc...). So if you know anyone that 1. Skydives, 2. Works in a veterinarian's practice, let them know ! I haven't checked but it might be a first - to repeat annually !!! Have them email me: anahama@hotmail.com Thanks ! Blue skies Alex

Just bought the helmet last week-end. Second jump with it got a nasty "riser slap" and started seeing little stars... The paint / plastic has a nice scratch from the riser ... it is there if you know where to look. But the helmet is still in one piece - no cracks, and it didn't leave my head. My neck is still pink and a little sore under the helmet line, but my ears are in place and i am happy about it. Highly recommended !
