from what iv seen, there's very little snivel, and then a fast opening leaving my canopy with a boomerang shape for just a second or two. the canopy is slightly out of trim and could use a new line set sooner rather than later. im mainly going by this video iv seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dLU9Umaz5g id love for my openings to look like that second one.. also i was not aware that the trim of your canopy had such a drastic affect on opening characteristics.

thanks for the info jerry. i could probably also have my local rigger, rory corrigan, rig me up a pocket slider. but im curious what others opinons are on the matter.

i jump a sabre 1 and of course experience, more often than not, hard fast openings. i have read that a larger slider (32x29) could fix the problem. just wondering if anyone has used this method and or knows where i can obtain one.

thanks for the answers everyone, gonna look around. i was told by my rigger that 1/8 inch is the way to go, but he didnt specify a stretch factor. i guess the stretchier the better.

i have a mirage g4, which originally had a black butt bungee. i had my local rigger do some harness work, and unfortunately had to remove the original black bungee and replace it with white. i wouldn't normally care but i just feel it looks tacky, and he doesn't have black. anyone know what kind of bungee or where i can get some black replacement?
