    I had an extremly good blow job this weekend. Here in the UK we got blown out big style. My next door neighbour had his gable end of his house blown down straight onto his new BMW. Ouch!     Thats what I like in the UK. FLIGHT LINE CHECKS! I jumped in the USA last year and found it a bit of a shock to have no flight line checks as mandatory, but if you are blessed with a bit of common sense you get other people to check your gear as well as yourself.     I really don't think that age does matter. I'm 30 now and I sometimes wonder "older or younger?" What does matter though is whether or not they have a good personality and are they a skydiver?

    I have just recived a copy of "Into the Silk" by Ian Mackersey. There was a newspaper clipping inside with reference to an Ivan Maguire. The clipping stated that this camera flyer managed to get into an aircraft with his full camera equipment on and no rig. When the a/c reached altitude he proceeded to jump with the team without his rig. This incident happened in 1988 and I am unclear as to weather it happend or not.     I learnt a couple of weeks ago that a nil wind day, lots of 8-ways and new canopies make for a morale building day on a dropzone. 70% of some loads didn't manage to stand it up. People with 900 jumps and people with 25 jumps. All in all a great and safe day. www.myspace.com/durtymac
