You can sidemount the hc series with no problems. Many people do.

Actually they are not open during the week until June, to finish repairing the building. Or at least that's what I recall from their newsletter.

Do they make the jacket with the wings sewn into the jacket? In other words fixed wings and no clips? Also do you know if they would do booties instead on the pants? And I'll try to remember to call them tomorrow.

Lead. We leave on the go count from TMs. Dropping straight down gives and a great view of the exit.

We hang from the strut. We don't have a step just the tire but there is a 2-3" peg off the center of the tire on the outside that we stand on while hanging onto the strut.

I used to work in the car industry so I'm a little biased but I think getting an extra warranty on a brand new car is a waste of money. It already comes with the manufacturers warranty. But if you are buying used, I would definitely get it since you don't know how the car has been driven/treated.

I put mine on the top left. Think about which hand you carry your canopy back in. Then you want to put the button on the opposite side so you can reach it while holding your canopy. (or at least if you do tandem vids this makes it a lot easier).

What's the advantage of this? Or is it just another option?

So theoretically you could attach a small pocket on your dbag and stow the lines in there vs the pack tray. But then there'd be no reason not to be a lazy packer

Then why didn't he have a problem with us doing hop and pops out the KA in January, four of us all weekend? As long as the jumpers understand the low tail situation...

I wouldn't rely on the readings. I once did 330, on a tandem according to my neptune!

What about currency? I've never been interested in getting my riggers ticket therefore I have no interest in packing my own reserve. And I would never get a ticket just to pack my own reserve. Practice makes perfect so I think you should be current if you are packing anyones reserve. You cannot ever be current if you are just packing your own. Sure you have to have 20 pack jobs to get the ticket and of course the reserve is similar to your main but there are still differences. I'd rather have someone who is very familiar with it inspect and pack it. They know what they are seeing due to experience, more than just once every 120 days. But what do I know, just my opinion. Anyone else have any thoughts on currency and reserves?

Was there for about a week last month and asked Bill every day for a low pass on the KA and every day he said no Don't get why either since I was there late January on the weekend and all we did was low passes out of the KA. Sucks since that was the reason I went to lodi to begin with.

Why not clip it onto your harness? I tell students they can have a frap hat if they want one. Have yet to have anyone take me up on the offer. (not saying there's anything wrong with not wearing one, personal preference, just not quite understanding your reasoning

You can, but you might not want to. If you video tandems on your belly, you really want to get a little lower than the tandem looking up to get a good face shot (even more so with Vector rigs). I find that freefly pants put way too much drag on my legs to make it easy to film in this position. They want to pull your legs up and put you slightly head down. What about the wings. I know they make different styles, freefly vs belly. Can you backfly with a traditional suit (w/o booties) and vice versa. I've heard the wings on a freefly suit are sewn to high on the front of the arms to be effective on your belly.

I try Can you fly on your belly with a camera freefly suit? I think it would take me quite a while to become comfortable enough backflying with tandems.

Look at the pd factory team website (is there one?). They do a lot of side by side stuff.

I haven't decided but am considering a two piece. But can't decided if I should get booties or no. I have very few camera jumps and on all of them have jumped a borrowed one piece with booties. What is good/bad about one piece vs two piece and booties vs no?
