    My first solo jump was by far the most relaxed for me. I guess not having the pressures of having to perform certain manuvers helped me. Congrats!

    I don't know if Rent still does it but when I was there about six years ago they gave away the entire first row of seats on matinees. I showed up at a certain time in the morning to put my name down and then in the afternoon I went back for the raffle drawing and ended up with 2 free front row seats. We also had no problem getting half price tickets to Les Mes in times square the day of. I think this was in October or November though.

    Just got my new lineset in the mail and it's 675, according to their website. I was expecting 500, should have asked before ordering Although I can't imagine it would make much difference at my level. Mel's post about the 38% difference between 340 and 500 seems like a big difference though.

    Or go to your local metal shop and have them make one custom for your set up. That's what I did and it fits perfectly, only cost $35. It was some type of aluminum, cannot remember the weight but they had a bunch of samples to choose from.

    That seems like an awful lot for 100 jumps. I've put 230 on my katana (it came with new spectra) this year and was thinking that's a bit early to get new lines, am going hma, but was going to do it anyway.

    Just wondering what a rough estimate would be on getting a new hma lineset for my Katana. How much does it cost if they install it vs if I just order the lineset? And yes I will be calling pd, just didn't want to wait till tomorrow

    Tech help need please! I tried to copy some files off my laptop to a memory card only I hit cut instead of copy. I also selected more files than I wanted so instead of waiting for the transfer to complete I canceled it. Needless to say the files that were in process just dissappeared. I can't find them on the card or my computer. I'm thinking they are buried somewhere though since I didn't actually delete them. Any idea where to look or are they gone for good?

    Couple things I readily remember: walking barefoot on hot coals, thinking if I walked fast enought I wouldn't get burned. Walking, and running on top of a bridges guardrail about 50 above the water. Other than that I was an angel.

    Not really an option, can't afford to spend more than $300 or so. And am looking for one that's easily carried around, ie small.

    How is the skills camp broken down? Is it progressive over the three days or just the same thing three times? Might be an option if I can get a really cheap flight and place to stay. I haven't been on the east coast yet.
