just got my copy too and cant put it down ! a truly inspiring tale , one thing though ,I paid $14.40 for shipping from US to Ireland ,only to find my copy was printed in ,and shipped from UK Should have only cost $4 - $5

Hey Jerry ,unfortunately there wont be as many of us over for this one some of them want to spend Christmas with their families for some reason not me though ,give me night jumps ,beach landings and 24 hour nightclubs any Christmas as for packing ,unless they are charging Russian prices for jumps I think ill have to sweat over my own canopy cya there bro

we got our paper work from http://www.go-russia.com/ visa@go-russia.com they faxed back invitation and voucher same day + instructions for filling in visa application form ( $20 each ). seems bureaucratic and complicated but once you have paperwork its no prob as for DZ try them again ! sometimes they answer immediately ,more times emails seem to get lost in cyberspace

a friend of mine was there recently ! all i know is they have a AN2 that goes to 9/10k in 25 minutes . jump tickets are $20 approx and there are armed guards on the aircraft at all times ! ( so you dont hijack it and head for Florida i guess ) they also have an MI 8 helicopter in for their boogie in February -
15 of us returned from Kolomna last week , none of us registered our visas and there were no problems .Passport control guys didnt even bat an eyelid BTW Aerograd rocks !!!!!!!!!

there will be 5 of us from Ireland arriving in Aerograd on Wednesday and another 10 on Friday What is the weather like there at the moment ? Should i pack shorts + t-shirts or warm clothes ? Looking forward to meeting all you guys Pádraig -

they said they should have warm showers by the end of June , as far as i know you can register at a police station , anybody know if the wind tunnel is open yet ? -

we got our letters of invitation from http://www.go-russia.com/ they normally charge $40 but gave us a group rate of $20 each for 8+ .they faxed them back same day (guess they can email em also) there are now 13 of us going ( inc 2 scottish ) for July 14 - 28 .oh im so excited -
