Don't know where you're getting your facts from. Pullouts are easier to pack, Don't have to worry about the pilotchute getting stuck in the pouch, and no pilotchute in tows!

Hope you like crow!

I believe PD has a video explaining the differances.

The Straight and Narrow - Cross-Wind Landings
jumpsracer commented on nettenette's article in Safety
It doesn't list you as a Canopy Coach. -
Enjoy the down time you're going to have with that broken leg!

Jump Shack did indeed produce the initial run of FireBolt main canopies with a no stich fingertrap. I know, I used to own one.

I think Oklahoma Skydiving Center is located closer to Rt 66. Andy Beck is the DZO. Give him a call!

Try a PD PULSE. I have them in both my Racers and love them! Easy to pack and pretty much a no brainer when flaring. When you want to down-size you'll have no problem re-selling it as long as it's taken care of. I'm loading my 190's at 1.3 and have no problems with landings!! My exit weight with gear is around 260 so that should give you some idea of performance. Stay away from the FireBolt....had 4 sold 4! Before you buy, try. PD has a canopy demo program as does JumpShack. Delivery time from JumpShack is around 5-6 weeks so you can wait till you weight comes down. PS, Their AngleFire reserve is great. I have one ride one mine and stood it up in the peas!

How long did it take them to make your new rig?

Current delivery time for a Racer IS 6-8 weeks. -
best days of parachuting?
jumpsracer replied to John_snurkowski's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
It had to be the mid-seventies! I started in 76 which seemed to be a transition period for gear. Canopies of all sizes and shapes filled the air. Dc-3, Twin beech's filled with RW jumpers and C-180's putting out students. Almost all jumpers seemed to own a van of some sort for after jumping "partying"! Being invited on a load was the ultimate acceptance, you are now a real skydiver! Yep, the mid-seventies was it for me!! -

Airplane Repo Season Finale
jumpsracer replied to mereanarchy's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
There's NO DZ in Wisconsin that adverts a twin Otter let alone 3! Otters used in the episode are from SDC. I think that episode was BS! -
Try Jump Shacks Shadow Racer. Custom built in about 3-4 weeks.

Black Widow crappie pole. Most major sporting goods stores carry it!

A stolen skydiving image on National Geographic site?
jumpsracer replied to Laszloimage's topic in Photography and Video
Have ChrisD notify NatGeo of the problem. That is total BS!!! -
I don't know if anyone is operating a C-182 with 5 but I happened to find an ad in August 81 issue of Skydiving: New Airah 6 place C-182's with FAA approval for this configuration.

Staples has those buttons!

Have to disagree! I made my first jump on my 16th birthday in 1976 and have been jumping ever since!! Her age had absolutely nothing to do with this accident. I know, I was there!

I love the Pulse. Packs small flies great and landings are a no brainer! PD has a demo program. Get with them and request a demo Pulse.
