Hey, I have only been jumping for just over a year, and becoming a tandem instructor/master really interests me as something I want to get into in the future. However I'm sort of "petite" in my build, and I'm not sure if there are certain requirements (height,weight,etc) to become a tandem instructor? Thanks in advance

It's been just 4 days since you started This Thread saying you were thinking about applying for the job, and basically asking what it was like. What's up? My guess is that it's either Funks or JR. But I could be wrong. Guys, I'm getting pretty upset here. I don't even know who "Funks" or "JR" are. Can someone explain??? why does everyone keep saying I'm these people? Look on my profile if you don't believe me. I have a pic of me free flying. That's proof enough. Haha - busted. You're not suppossed to be free-flying before you have your B license. That will be 3 demerit points trust me I do know this. haha I was actually scared someone would realise that I am not meant to be free flying yet. . . but I have been given permission by my DZSO on a few occasions, if there is a spare load at the end of the day, and he knows my capabilities. So forgive me for breaking the "skydiving rules". anyway I just wanted to post a pic (I think it was a pretty good one) to prove to people that I am who I say I am.

Can't take her seriously as a jumper until she starts showing up to the DZ without makeup on. Oh, you guys are so lovely to me. Some of what you said is true. The first part. But FYI, I don't wear make up to the dz (tried once and the helmet and goggles smudge it anyway ). And my canopy is pink, which doesn't match my eyes, but is my favourite colour I skydive because I truly love it, which I have a right to do. Not because I want to "pick up guys" or "look cool".

What's up is that the I posted that a day before I was going for an interview. I got the job pretty soon after, as I had the knowledge and they were in need of someone to start straight away. I have know this guy since I have actually been going to the dz, not just working there.

I am 19. I know I am old enough to make my own decisions, and I do, but I have never been in this situation before and I am hoping someone might have some good advice.

I work as the manifest chick at my dz, and there is this guy (he is the son of the owner) who I really like. Apart from being good looking he is really sweet and friendly towards me.

Wow - that's about as serious an overreaction (and lack of recognition) of humor as I've seen here in a long time. But hey - thanks very much for the heads-up. Oh, P.S. - I'm the one who went into the Women's forum and cross-posted your Bonfire thread about your cousin, in the hopes that some of the women jumpers in here might give you some helpful comments. You're welcome. Sorry you thought I was overreacting, but try putting yourself in my position, one where I had already three other people saying that I'm probably a guy, and that I'm lying about who I am. And then comes along some other guy who decides to join in, and whether it was a joke or not, I think I have a right to draw a line. I have only been a part of this forum for three days. I'm still learning. It's sad when an "attractive" person comes on here, people assume they are not real. Skydiving isn't about what you look like, good looking, or not, it's about your passion and love towards it.
