Big tanzanite, little diamonds. The tanzanite can be light blue or blue or purple depending on the light.

He was sneaky and got the ring from a jeweler I liked at the Sterling, NY Renaissance Fair when we were visiting my parents a few weeks ago. He had it sized and shipped to TX, then got down on one knee

Better late than never! Happy B-day Mike

Walt and everyone- Thank you
-
Thanks bro, I've taken a first flight class before, last AOT actually, don't really feel like messing with it this year. I would rather swoop, or atleast try really hard to swoop. Haha that was meant for everyone, it's not all about you
-
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to borrow a wingsuit or take a First Flight Class at AOT+++. At this time the Phoenix-Fly demos are NOT available for that weekend, so I will have to do some borrowing and scrounging to make sure I have a wingsuit available in your size. See all you flockers there!!

Hehehe you misread me. I meant I use the tub because I think it will be less damaging on my suit.
-
I used to wash my wingsuits in the machine on hand wash/super delicate, but now that I have a suit with mylar ribs I'm afraid it will take too much of a beating (even tho Robi told me it would be ok in the machine with normal detergent) and use Voodew's method with Woolite in the bathtub. If your suit is light colored you'll want to periodically dump the water out of the booties as it dries, or the black will run up the legs a bit and stain

That must have been Terry Goode. He was showing a picture matching that description around Skydive Houston Sunday evening. Told us they put his skinny ass in the base so he was wearing 30 lbs and forgot about the extra weight on landing!

The hamster died? Nope, think mine has a gerbil It's a little truck.

I'm stuck at the office cuz my truck won't start. My co-worker says AAA will be here in 30-40 minutes...yeah right! It's afternoon rush hour in Houston!! Anyone wanna take bets on how long it takes them to get here or what the problem is? (Hint: it's not the battery)

The Dates You Have Been Waiting For (SF06)

Damn!!!!! I guess I can always do so video jumps. Walt Or maybe you could finally jump that wingsuit you were trained on all those months ago?? -
The S&TA understands we have been doing our best to keep our distance, and problems in the past with wingsuit students being too close to tandem canopies have been caused by the pilot forcing us to exit with NO separation after the tandems. This is the easy solution, giving us the option to take a long delay, get a crosswind jumprun for a big group, or get a downwind jumprun (offset form the first) for crosscountry wingsuiting. The exit separation minimum was put in to appease the tandem masters and video guys who think we flail around out of control then buzz every open canopy above 1500'. Unfortunately, those few TM's and vidiots who think this are not willing to talk with me for 5 minutes or see some wingsuit video or hear about how wingsuits really work. The "stay away from tandems and students or be grounded" rule has always been in effect but the S&TA said he doesn't hear about potential incidents until 4 or 5 weeks after it happened, at which point its impossible to identify who was wearing the orange suit on that load. Obviously this puts a strain on tandem/wingsuit relations, but if they're not willing to communicate there's not much more I can do.
-
The problem was with the tandem instructors not wanting us around, if we left before them we would still be opening with them.
