  1. Less than were mutilated in Saddam's prisons. Your desire to make a comparison purely on a numeric basis speaks volumes.
  2. So you are saying that despite all the intellegence that Iraq had WMDs, that GWB actually was the only world leader who didn't KNEW they didn't and he invaded Iraq anyway? edited to add quotes. Well... where are the WMD's then? There are none. If the blame for going to war on a fraudulent basis doesn't ultimately belong with the president (since there are no WMD), then who does it belong with? Santa claus?
  3. I wonder how many American citizens have have had one-to-four limbs amputated for stealing a goat or calf on Bush's orders. Oh, I know . . . ZERO. Want to take a guess at Hussein's numbers? Do you want to take a guess at how many American soldiers have had to have limbs amputated as a result of injuries sustained in Iraq? How about children in Iraq or Afghanistan who have had an arm or a leg blown-off because they picked up an unexploded cluster bomb? Or how about Iraqi's who have been similarly mutilated in "precision" bombing?
  4. Wasn't it Operation Iraqi Freedom? Convenient, wasn't it. It's almost like they knew they'd have to change the emphasis for some reason. Nah... that couldn't possibly be it.
  5. Hey, why don't you just build a big freakin wall around the entire country? That always works.
  6. Yes, but why won't you tell us how you really feel? SH may have been "politically violent" (....*coughBUSHcough*...), but that was NOT the reason that was sold to the American people for why we had to invade Iraq. The given reason was WMD. The level of intelligence regarding WMD that we allegedly held was said to be so precise that we were told that it was sufficient justification for preemptive war. And yet when no WMD could be found, the political motivation for the invasion and occupation then became the "liberation" of the Iraq people. The same people who we have killed in the thousands: http://www.iraqbodycount.net/bodycount.htm http://www.commondreams.org/headlines03/0406-02.htm
  7. Because it's exactly that kind of isolationist mindset that allows the self-justification of unilateral action such as the invasion of Iraq. If more people thought like him and not like you we'd be in a lot less shit.
  8. Yeah, those 500 dead American soldiers sure is a boring subject, isn't it Jim.
  9. But if the president hadn't sent him over there he wouldn't be dead. The logic is pretty inescapable.
  10. This is an absolutely hilarious parody! Truly superb!
  11. What do you think? Sparky Like I said, depends on your point of view.
  12. What does all this vitriolic machismo that people have been espousing actually achieve? I can't help but feel that it's all just a violent, hypocritical and ultimately futile exercise in supposed moral one-upmanship. When people talk about tracking down abusers and then torturing and killing them, they are behaving in a "worse" way (in the strict definition of the law) than the people who they themselves see as abhorrent. Just like the people they despise, they are letting what's inside their head control their body in a way that violates the law. They are basically fantasizing about being both a criminal and a sociopath.
  13. Protection is one thing, but most people here are talking about retribution, i.e. revenge.
  14. Shooting... killing... you love it. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=839595;#839595
  15. You sure do love killing. Troll. Me or him? I guess that depends on your point of view.
  16. I would have thought that murdering hitch-hikers would be enough to sate your blood lust, But apparently not...
  17. Nice to see that everyone has their prejudices...

    Cool footage

Let's be realistic though. It does say the location in the program itself, and I seriously doubt that some wuffo is going to go all the way to that location to experiment.
  19. He was jumping before then because I saw him jump in Elsinore in late 2002. His plan was apparently to get his PRO rating so that he could jump into the X-games opening ceremony.
  20. A canopy that can fly backwards? That'd be nice.
  21. Ditto? What you are saying contradicts what he was saying...
