  1. I have to say that what OCC comes up with for theme bikes is pretty cool, however if you actually take a look at their regular customer bikes, they are all just set models. They actually have a line of customer bikes, which cannot be considered one off like WCC bikes are considered. Jesse's quality and craftsmanship is second to none. He was first to take bike building on to tv, and everyone else followed. He took bike building to the next level with his designs. He builds everything in house and fabricates his bikes from the ground up. The only thing he does not fabricate in house is his motors, which he has Nigel Patrick from Patrick Racing build specifically for his bikes. Being in the motorcycle industry I have had the chance to actually see and ride bikes from both builders and I have to say that hands down, Jesse James, and WCC take the cake. I have a friend that is good friends with Jesse and has know him for over 15 years before he even became famous, he has written numerous books about Jesse, WCC and his bikes and gives very good information about how much time and thought goes into every single bike that comes out of WCC. This of course is just my humble opinion.
  2. Jason has been a mentor to many of us at the drop zone. The guy was simply amazing. I got to really know Jason over the past 2 years and he helped me out tremendously in all aspects of the sport. He will be missed by us all at the dropzone. He passed on doing something that he loved and I hope we could all be so lucky. You will be with us on every jump we make and we will see you soon. May you fly with the angels forever. Mat
  3. thanks, I actually returned the original card and bought one from a different manufacturer and it worked the first time. I don't know what was wrong with the other one but who cares right? Thanks for your help.
  4. Don't know if anyone is able to help but I figured I would give it a try. I try to install my firewire card in my pc, hp pavillion running windows xp and everytime I get the message saying there was a problem installing the driver, it may not work properly. Then when I go into the device manager it say's it is not working properly and say's code 10. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Go to infinitycameras.com. They have the trv 22 for 524.99 and the pc105 for 704.99.
  6. I am trying to make up my mind as to which camera to go with. I have already decided against any of the trv's from sony because I have decided to mount it on the side instead of the top. I am purely interested in a camera for fun jumping only. But I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the canon elura 50, and the sony pc105. Any strenghts/weaknesses would be great. I think that the canon is a little smaller, but not enough to make it a big deal. Any help would be great.
  7. just wanted to ad, what would you recommend for someone just looking to have a camera for fun jumps?
  8. Just wondering if anyone has any experience side mounting the trv 22. And if so, any pros/cons with it. I was going back and forth between the trv 22, and the pc105. Any pros/cons with these as well would be very helpful.
  9. I custom paint skydiving helmets, motorcycle helmets, bikes and cars. The best stuff to use is actual automotive paint, ex: PPG, House of Kolor, however if you don't have any experience with painting this will prove to be a big expensive mess not to mention the hundreds even thousands of dollars in equipment just to be able to spray it. If you do spray it you will also want to then clear over the paint job with at least 2-4 coats of clear. I always use between 8-10 coats of clear on my helmets that I do for people. If you just want to spray it one color and don't really car about graphics then just go to an automotive parts store and get a can of spray laquer. Any other questions just ask. Blue skies
  10. Actually the use for the zp topskin is to allow longer life and less breakdown of the fabric due to repacking of the reserve. They are a bigger pain to pack, and offer no flight advantages over f-111. I do have an mz in my rig, though I have never had to use it knock on wood, but it took one rigger all day to TRY to pack and a different rigger one time to pack. But I will not purchase another mz with my next rig due to the horrible experience that I gave my rigger.
