I made my 2nd tandem on Sunday, this time with the mustache man Dan P. Such a nice guy. All of the tandem instructors are fun and personable but I was glad to have Dan this 2nd time. Even though I'd been before he still explained everything so thoroughly that I felt like I was hearing it for the first time. I was much less anxious this time and Dan helped that along even more with his thoroughness. By the time we got to the door I was ready to go and enjoy the "ride". You forget about everything once you are out that door free falling. We were able to do a couple of slow spins which was pretty cool. I was even able to steer the canopy for a little while too. While I had more fun this time I would be remiss if I didn't point out Melanie. She was the videographer on my first jump and she is incredible. It was so worth the money for the great stills and video she took. I'd recommend doing this at least twice. Once with the videographer and once without. One you will enjoy posing for the camera, the other you will enjoy the free fall more. I'll likely do this again and perhaps even solo next time. My wife and son (over 18) also went and had a great time. There are a lot of people who say they'd never do this who just don't know what they're missing. We've gotten all kinds of respect for doing this, even more for doing it again.
