  1. It is always hard to say things with absolutes in this case. But, I don't see any evidence Cooper was a recreational skydiver.. on the contrary... besides the things mentioned he was 45-50 and at that time it was a young man's sport. A rec jumper that age was extremely rare. The first reports for Cooper's chute were olive drab with a tan cotton harness... Cossey claimed Sage Green nylon with a Sage Green nylon harness... as a 28' modified NB6. A 24' chute is not an NB6.. Cossey's claims are unreliable. Cooper's chute was probably olive drab...
  2. Why do people keep calling the chute Cooper used an NB6?? It is very unlikely it was an NB6. The only reference is Cossey who claimed it was a modified NB6 to an NB8 with a 28' chute. Cossey also changed the colour from the initial report. Cossey is completely unreliable. Only one of the two back chutes was described as a Pioneer by Cossey, however packing cards describe them both as Pioneer chutes. Pioneer does make NB6's but only the chute left behind was referred to as a Pioneer. Hayden thought they were the same. Also, the packing card missing a back chute was a 24'.. NB6's are 26'.. So, for the chute Cooper used to be an NB6 then that second packing card found in the chute pocket belongs to another chute entirely.. extremely unlikely. The other thing is the chute Cooper used was Haydens' bailout chute,, Hayden was a big guy, there is no reason to believe using a 24' chute would necessarily cause severe injury or death.. Chutes of different sizes can be made to descend at the same rate... A 24' chute doesn't make a jump less survivable. 24' chutes were very common. If they were that bad they wouldn't use them. Using a 24' chute does not infer death or serious injury.
  3. Even in a bag it it is hard to believe a bundle could make that journey, the rubber bands would have weakened/deteriorated. Problem with the 1974 dredge is that it was a suction dredge, a rubber banded bundle in or out of a bag wouldn't have made through as was found.. The 1974 dredge operation is a red herring, there was shoreline mitigation and material moved up and down the river.. The most likely scenario is that the money went into the river upstream of TBAR in Spring during a water event higher than the money find spot..
  4. Heisson Store was never confirmed,, it is probably 90%... I looked for other general stores in that area in that era, 10 miles South of the Dam, and didn't find any close. The South Fork Lewis is the river near Heisson that flows to the Columbia. If a high water event caused the money to flow to the Columbia it would end up at the mouth of the Lewis River downstream of TBAR... There were clamshell dredge operations in the Columbia that barged material upstream and dumped above TBAR.. IMO, this is a long shot. It would be hard to imagine a rubber banded bundle of 3-5 packets remaining together for that journey.
  5. Bourbon and Sprite is a common highball.. 7up is the replacement when Sprite isn't offered. or maybe he asked for soda but they didn't have soda?? Maybe if we knew what Cooper had actually said to Flo...
  6. Early 70’s Bourbon top hard liquor.. replaced at #1 by Vodka in 1974.. So, the choice of Bourbon tells us nothing. https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/254107297/ MUNCIE EVENING PRESS, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1974 Vodka replaces bourbon as nation's favorite booze; lightness, mixability with flavors credited By RICHARD HUGHES NEW YORK (UPI) - Belly up to the bar, boys, and have a belt of vodka and orange juice. Vodka and orange juice? 'Fraid so. Vodka has just replaced bourbon as the nation's favorite hard alcoholic drink.
  7. Not interested in participating in your delusions.
  8. I have never seen any evidence for the card being found on the floor but Tosaw said in his book that Cooper checked the packing cards.. maybe Bruce is going off that and assuming. It is also possible that the 1960 card was put back in the wrong chute pocket by somebody who found the chute and card in the plane.. Hard to know exactly what went down..
  9. Yes, perhaps the 1957 card wasn't in the pocket.. maybe tossed on the floor.
  10. You may be reading too much into Tina's account, but here is a link to scans of an extensive library of historical department store catalogs.. maybe Cooper bought his suit or shoes from a major department store.. https://christmas.musetechnical.com
  11. Reca was a well known serial liar, you admitted that.. He doesn't fit the description, he talks like he has a grade 8 education.. he made many gross errors in his fake confession. You don't need to trust the FBI to eliminate Reca, he does it himself. Cowboy Jeff proves Reca wasn't Cooper.. he said he met somebody in Cle Elum who looked like Reca.. he can't prove it was Reca.. if it wasn't Reca then the entire story is a lie, if it was Reca then he wasn't Cooper because the plane went South not East. The Walter Reca being Cooper narrative is a HOAX. Why do you keep pushing a HOAX. The Reca authors have a reason, what is yours.
  12. You are the one BUSTED... That path doesn't go East to Cle Elum.. not even close.. The normal route is V-23.. you claimed ALL planes flew East, a lie. Why do you perpetuate the Reca hoax.. nobody with a basic understanding of the case believes it unless they have an ulterior motive.
  13. There was no DNA in 1971,, they tested the cigarettes for prints which was negative and they disposed of them.. no lie, no conspiracy. You are lying, all planes don't take an East path to Reno.. The normal route is v-23.
  14. Sure, the FBI lies.. but you need to prove they lied or where they are wrong in this case from the start of the hijacking.. and also prove that everyone else involved lied including live transcripts. You never prove anything because you can't. It is nonsense.. Instead, you cling to a made up story that actually proves Reca was NOT Cooper. So, the Reca story is an actual lie you believe to be true and all the Cooper case evidence is a lie... Not very good for a mentalist or discussions on a forum...
  15. Discussions with a few who can't accept the facts here are frustrating.. But, that is a bit harsh and hyperbolic...
  16. That is what a FED would say...
  17. Fact. 3100 was the squawk for a hijacking.
  18. This doesn't meet the definition of a pissing contest.. Robert is impervious to facts... you can't have discussion with people who just reject the facts. Reminds of the Reca nonsense.
  19. Wrong,, Chaucer got it right. 1972.. https://archive.org/details/ReadersDigestVol20No115October1972AsiaEdition/page/n7/mode/2up "Capt. Tommy Hill dialed Code 3100 - the signal reporting a hijacking - on his cockpit transponder"
  20. 3100 was hijack code in 1971... https://www.nashvillescene.com/news/a-nashville-hijacking-38-years-ago-set-the-standard-on-how-not-to-handle-hostage/article_e394a22d-e99d-52a5-b91e-b0ab20d5db31.html "Ground control calls Downs and advises him to broadcast the recognized hijack code. "Commander 58 November, squawk 3100." Each broadcast sounds through tinny speakers in the cabin. Giffe listens in, but he doesn't know the hijack code. "OK, squawking 3100," Downs says." Norjak was also asked to squawk 3100,, the hijacking code.
  21. 3100 hijack code in 1973.. https://books.google.ca/books?id=H6_3sLg_UtcC&pg=RA3-SA1-PA74&lpg=RA3-SA1-PA74&dq=hijack+code+squawk+3100+hijacking&source=bl&ots=pPN4YdOsUz&sig=ACfU3U0LHoSswbgxZrcEyQqyoRheTmQyuA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjjno2z-NqBAxWBMX0KHeEeDf04FBDoAXoECAMQAw#v=onepage&q=hijack code squawk 3100 hijacking&f=false
  22. They were called a "commando sole" available on many types of boots and shoes.
  23. Robert,, First, you still haven't provided the wind data you claim proves a W wind,,, because it doesn't exist.. of course SAGE was used..
  24. It shows all flights.. I have never seen one go East to Reno. Slim claimed the current route is East, everyday, it isn't. He is making it up, this is the Reca narrative, made up. Repeat the lies over and over and ignore the evidence is the strategy. Claiming the current route is East is both a red herring and false... Slim knows this, it is an intellectually dishonest trick to influence people... even if planes went East today that means nothing for the NORJAK path. Notice Slim makes lots of claims but never has proof.. NORJAK went down V-23 to Red Bluff then over to Reno.. there is no dispute outside of Reca grifters. The Reca crowd can't refute the actual evidence so they make up an alternate reality and keep pushing it with no proof. There is ZERO evidence the plane went East,, none and vast corroboration in real time is that it went South. We know that if the plane went South Reca was NOT Cooper and the entire Reca narrative implodes. So, the Reca crowd will never accept the evidence. They will never accept anything that rejects or undermines their claim. When the Reca narrative first came out and Cle Elum was the LZ that proved to everyone who knew the actual evidence that Reca was not Cooper.. there was no need to look any further at Reca or read any books on him, he was eliminated. Reca is a lie, a grift... they are only interested in pushing a narrative not the truth. They get so many facts wrong that it is really a joke now. The problem was Laurin was a poor researcher and made too many factual errors coaching Reca and constructing the narrative. If he were better it would have been more difficult to dismiss this hoax. It still amazes me that people have no self awareness and aren't embarrassed about lying.. That is the world today.. sad. I am not posting this for you or Slim, but when new people search for Reca they will find this and avoid getting played by these grifters. Walter Reca Peca was NOT DB Cooper, it is a hoax.
