On August 3rd I began a new life. My eyes are open for the first time. Five of my friends and I decided finally to jump after years of procastinating. I wish we had done it sooner. I have made many new friends and good ones at that. The instructors and members of SWOOP have gone out of their way to make me feel like a part of the club. I have returned and am now at 14 jumps. Each one more enjoyable than the last. When the end of the jump day is over the day is not done. Going out for dinner and coming back to th DZ for a bonfire and singing enhanced by friendship and some partying is the perfered after jump activity. All are welcome to join in, from students to experienced jumpers. During the day safety is always on the mind of everyone and is encouraged and enforced. If you are doing something unsafe they are not shy to let you know. This gives me a great sense of ease to know that everyone is watching out for your safety. This is on group of people I am proud to belong to. Cheers! to every one at SWOOP. I hope that every club I visit in my career is as friendly and accepting as this one.
