this is my point. changing canopies also changes the landing characteristics most importantly the flare. i feel a student should get as much guided practice doing that really important thing, landing, before said student is released into the wild. changing canopies every 2 jumps does not achieve this end IMO. i am not saying that benny is a crater waiting for coordinates. i am saying that he should not have flown 3 different canopies in his first 7 jumps. namaste, motherfucker.

i had nothing but problems with my p12 .45. i later found out that model was notorious for jamming. the place i bought it tried to tell me i was limpwristing. lmao. did everything possible, from trying different ammo to tuning the springs. nada. got rid of the fucker. namaste, motherfucker.

This wouldn't work for me because I don't jump with a compass, so if I'm in the middle of a big puffy, I would have no idea where North or the line of flight is. -

25% of your jumps. rut roh. it probably had to do with both the size and the fact that you are really new to the sport and having to adjust to the smaller canopy while you are still learning to land. slap my face and call me stupid but i think students should concentrate on learning how to land without breaking stuff before they deal with smaller faster canopies. i don't know. you may be just peachy under what you are flying. high wing loading is purely subjective quantification. i think what you are hearing is here is that on the surface it doesnt sound the most prudent course of action.
