they still haven't figured out the riser protection though in my opinion. which is too bad, otherwise it'd be a solid rig, many other things are well improved. You can just look at it and still see the sides of the risers.needs deeper riser channels. I'm sure the mini risers are hidden, but the fat risers seem to peek out. also, not a fan of fatter style as mentioned before.

don't know what the pro's are doing although i could guess but I think you'll hear that when you pop the toggles you'll lose a bit of effienciency in your swoop. However I'm sure almost everyone who likes to swoop has had to pop the toggles once in a while to dig themselves out of the basement of a dive.

ahh, what skydiving gear would be complete with a mod? replace the H20 with a 20 oz. and stick a tube in it, and you've got yourself a video beer hat.

it makes the slider work just a little longer for you when it is supposed to...ie slow the opening down. I believe I've read somewhere around here that they have been used as sort of a last resort for canopies that don't open just right. I really don't have too much information on pocket sliders for you.

Not necessarily, I'm sure you can deal with the drawstring kind of collapsible sliders,but the pocket would be out. Or if you pull it down, then wrap it all up including the pocket with some velcro tacked into the right places. talk to a rigger about that It flaps. like a slider, with a pocket.

I snapped a picture of this pocket slider on a SET 400 before I packed it tonite. the pocket is to the left, which would be the front of the slider. Its the only part of the slider that peeks out of the front of the canopy while packing it. enjoy

well if the f*cking weather would clear up there on a weekend sometime soon enough to make it a go, I'm there. I'm not going to 'chance' a 7.5 hour drive for shits and giggles as long as the gas prices are sky high and I'm dropping some hard earned dough on a rating(he's actually cheaper than others by about 150 bucks or less if I get another candidate to go with me). So, there's a pretty good chance if it doesn't clear, I'll get the chance to jump your otter. I'd gues I'd settle for the king air, if I could have it tomorrow...*shrugs* I'm looking forward to it no matter the plane. I actually have been talking to him for the last few weeks, midweek to see if I should come down for the weekend. flecibility is not a prob.

talked to them both. I'm thinkng mitch is the best option right now because he's the most flexible(king air ain't so bad, too) although, steve archuletta from front range is another great option if I could just pin him down from moving and the airforce team training next month. Jay is up there too, as well as fiesty down in missouri. all I need right now is some decent weather. might wait for another candidate from lspc as well to make it a bit more affordable. thanks for the info guys

that is one of three clips of skydivers chasing planes...that being the first one. There's over an hour of 'more stuff' on the dvd, plus many of his commericals. worth the 20 bucks definitely
