Hi Michelle
I did my first tandem about 3 years ago and I was terrified of heights. The night before I almost chickened out. Some friends and I went to Vegas for my 30th and there was supposto be 6 of us jumping that weekend. I was the only one that went thru with it, everyone else had an excuse (lol) Me being the shy, quiet and reserved one was ready to take on my biggest fear of heights & planes and just went for it. I was very nervous but when the plane door opened my stomach did jump into my throat but I figured I was there and just had to go for it. After that first jump I was hooked, it took me two years to try to talk my hubby into being ok with the idea of me doing my aff. I did 2 more tandems after that then started my aff last summer.
I only have in 19 jumps total right now, I had to take some time off due to some circumstances. But jumping for me is my "out" I can't wait to get back up in the air.
I always tell people that if I can do it anyone is capable of doing it.
