I dont know that would really change your potential for jumping. On the 4th we didnt get going until around 11 or so on Thursday. Depends all on the number of students/tandems or jumpers willing to hop in the cessna. I'll wait for the otter and I have to work all week. Nah, I wouldnt do that to him. He and his wife will be on vacation and cooking is what he does for a living. So much so actually, when I was down there for 3 days he didnt cook me a damn thing. But I always brag about my cooking to him, so maybe, there may be some friendly competition that weekend? I dunno, he has a list of things he wants to do while here and that seriously impedes my being at the DZ. I only know of one jumper there and he's not on here much. Plus, he tends to be out and about at night, sometimes here in ATL. Find a cheap-ass flea bag motel and sleep in your own gear. Or do like I do, find a solid (with security) rest stop. Done that many, MANY times. Good luck. I tell no stories. My friends tell enough of them. I meet people at boogies/DZs/out and about. I introduce myself and you'd be suprised how many times I have heard: "That's you!?" Multiple times a day? For that much action, you'll need to get married... Obviously you've never been married. At least, not for very long. Also, nothing is better than sex. Even bad sex is good. They're all over here. Generally where people dont frequent too much. We have a tool shed that has them show up once in a while. Regular cleanings have kept them from coming back. I have a small tool box that I keep random bolts/fittings in. I was digging through there one day and was puzzled by the web. Luckily I found the cause before i "sorted" her out of the way. Damn, its only been 70 or so days! I was beginning to suspect the brocolli was past. I got these as 3 inch plants at WalMart. So does that mean I can cut off what is there and it will make another bunch? The stringy looking plant is not broccoli. At least, not a standard variety. Broccoli is a very dark green leafy plant that can get up to 2 feet high. The center of the plant, aka the stalk, will have flowerettes thats should begin in a color similar to the leaves. When you see "flowers" the yellow part of the plant, it is gone. In fact, as soon as you see a bunch begin to even turn a lighter yellow, it is "over the hill" as they say. Those have gone so far I would cut the stalks of the flowers and see what happens. Doubtful it will return. When I say the life span of the crop. that is from planting to final. Broccoli is about a 100 - 120 day crop. That length is based on water, heat, sunshine, fertilizer, etc. I've been on a broccoli farm and in about 90 days from planting to first harvest have a crop. Then depending on the maturity you can have up to 3 harvests. Mind you this is all based on a winter in Phoenix, AZ. That is the season for herbs, wheat, broccoli, cabbage, etc in AZ. Generally the people who live in that area are living in one and MAYBE two bedroom condos so space might be very limited. I usually have an open door, but my new roomate hasnt given me her move in date so I cant commit resources that might not be available. Plus I'm at least a 15 min drive from Centennial. Finding a hotel should be no problem, finding someone with an extra bed is tough in those areas. Just the nature of what they build around there and what skydivers can afford!
